a perennial favorite, we enjoy Bogart's every time we go. my daughter got so excited one time because one of her favorite actresses was there visiting family and she was kind enough to get a picture
During our trip to Waynesville, my husband and I tried many of the local restaurants. Bogart's was hands down one of the best experiences. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. Kristy our waitress was attentive and friendly despite it being extremely busy. Will definitely go again if we find ourselves back in the area.
Had lunch here yesterday and we were very pleased from the minute we walked in. Friendly staff, very clean restaurant service was fast waitress was very friendly and polite and answered the questions we had about the different food items. Sorry I don’t remember her name but she was terrific! If in the area again we will be back!

Bogart's Restaurant and Tavern offers a cozy and friendly atmosphere with delicious food and attentive service. The rustic decor has a nice charm, although it can be a bit dark. Parking can be challenging during busy times, but the short wait times for appetizers, drinks, and entrees make up for it. The staff is knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, ensuring excellent care for customers with allergies. Guests have enjoyed the flavorful and juicy steaks, with one reviewer noting that their well-done steak was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes are generous, with dishes like the prolific sweet potato impressing diners. While one customer found the 8 oz ribeye to be chewy and lacking flavor, the overall dining experience remains positive. Be prepared if choosing to sit upstairs, as it may be a bit dimly lit, but the friendly service and quality of food make Bogart's a place worth visiting.
