I found myself in a pickle and needing a lengthy car shuttle last minute. Mountain Layers was suggested to me as a resource, and when I called them, they were incredibly friendly, eager to help, and able to connect me with several leads that led to me finding a ride. I look forward to patronizing them my next time I'm in town!
We went to both breweries while in town. This was by far our favorite of the two. Granted we went here on Friday, versus Thursday, for the other. This felt more like what we expect from a brewery. Sitting on the outdoor deck, listening to live music, was great. The beer was fantastic! I would highly recommend the Mountain Lord, if you are into IPAs. This place is a great brewery!

Inside, there is a small bar downstairs and more seating upstairs with a patio overlooking the street. The staff, including bartenders like Mel, are friendly and helpful.
