Honey Bear's Bakery & More offers good baked goods and excellent coffee, with the best coffee in Bryson City hands down. The bagged espresso is great for making lattes at home with very tasty flavor. The latte is very good, and the coffee is fresh from a local roaster. Bakery items are good, including a gigantic apple fritter that can easily feed 3. The glaze is just right, the breading is not too sweet, and the apples were caramelized. The lemon bar was great, and the blueberry cake part of the lemon blueberry cupcake was delicious, though the icing was super sweet. The Red Velvet cookie was surprisingly dry. They also serve ice cream, with purple daze being the best ice cream flavor. Staff are pleasant, cheerful, and sweet, greeting everyone. The bakery is furnished with multiple comfortable couches and chairs, and has a kids play area with sofas very close by, though the children’s area could be cleaned better.
