A little belated with the review but better than never. Came in on July 4th while enjoying the town and being a huge fan of wings we had to give CJs a try which made for a perfect 4th! Shout out to the bartender who went above and beyond for both bar patrons and those dining in all in the midst of the holiday chaos. The wings were hands down some of the best I've ever had! Jumbo, juicy, and full of flavor between the cajun garlic and Sriracha bourbon! I can not wait to come back and try other flavors! Last but not least...My 4th was really made by walking into a WNC bar that actually has Fan Duel Sports Network to watch my Braves that night and all season! Thanks for a great experience all around and to the hard working staff on the 4th!
My family of 6 went here for lunch and so glad we did. Our server was great( and she had only been there a week). The wings were fantastic, and all food we ordered was yummy!! We had a drink get spilled and a couple of employees came right over to clean it up and clean me up. They have a game room as well with a pool table and jukebox. My sons lost money in the pool table and the owner came right over and helped with it, then gave them money to put in the jukebox and play whatever songs they wanted. It was the perfect place for us, we would have stayed and just hung out there if we could have!
We had a lovely lunch today- the food was delicious and our waitress Cynthia was very sweet and helpful!
Visiting Bryson City for the Train ride. We stopped into CJ’s for lunch. The food was excellent. The beer was super. What made the experience so fine was the service. Cynthia was so gracious. With numerous folks descending on CJ’s at the same time, she handled the crowd with grace, kindness, and speed. She was amazing. Again, she delivered with accuracy, swiftness, and a smile. The chicken Philly and onion rings were spot on. The dark porter she recommended topped off the meal. Before or after your train ride in Bryson City, CJ’s grill is the place to stop. Ask for Cynthia.
I really enjoyed visiting CJ’s Grille! The Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich was great, and the porter was very good. Cynthia was great as well. Be sure to check out CJ’s.
More bar like not a problem, portions were small, ordered a Philly with fries, my wife ordered the chicken tenders with fries and we ordered my son a grilled cheese with fries. His meal had more fries than both of ours, they tried to charge for a buffalo sauce they didn’t bring, my step dad ordered a blt (separate ticket) they forgot the cheese my mom ordered just chili cheese fries(also separate ticket) and that was the most pitiful order of fries I’ve ever seen, my family’s meal was $45 and unfortunately we left hungry

Went for dinner before the train ride. Took over an hour for our food to come out. Over half was cold. When you ask to hold something due to an allergy, that means DO NOT put it on in ANY WAY and then remove “most” of it! The attitude from the server and “manager” is embarrassing.
12-07-24 we went there and got appetizers while we waited for the train ride polar express. What an insult every appetizer was basically one appetizer per person not as a group loaded nachos with a handful of nachos with items on it. Way overpriced for just basic appetizers never once did it say this is for one person we asked for pretzel bites. There was one pretzel. Cheese curds was the only thing that seemed substantial and maybe some fried pickles but everything else was like one person only and well overpriced. Also the service she looked at us like what are you doing here and we said we’re waiting for more of our food that we ordered I don’t think they were on their a game.
Fun place!

Terrible service, rude waitresses and small food portions. Food was somewhat good though. Would recommend cj philly cheese steak.

I usually don’t post reviews unless they are positive, but this place was not good. Menus were gross, dirty, & sticky. There was a dirty rag left on our table and the table wasn’t bussed. They weren’t busy. It was dusk and we were waiting for the 6:40 Polar Express ride to start and had driven over 4 hours and were starving. There used to be a quaint little pizza place we also ate at when visiting Bryson for the Polar Express (Nic and Nate’s), unfortunately they closed down. The other pizza place was closed on Mon-Tues.
The cheeseburger my daughter ordered was hard and cold. My BLT had a ton of very limp bacon, no cheese (that I asked for) and the hush puppies were cold. Fine whatever, but what topped this visit off was the fact that when my son went to use the bathroom he overheard the waitress talking about me to someone else. Very unprofessional. We weren’t rude and never complained except to make sure we weren’t charged for the cheese that I didn’t get. The $2 up charge was for the cold hush puppies that I got instead of the fries. Go somewhere else if you can to eat if you go on days when Anthony’s Pizzeria is closed. You’re welcome. Other locals weren’t even recommending this place after we left and overheard people asking where to eat.

Bruh, extremely slow service. Food was cold, out of many of the options they are “known for” honestly, just a bad experience.

First timers and we loved this place!! We are from Florida and love that our seafood comes straight off the boats to our table; however, the new Cod sandwich blew ours out the water! The Fried Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Curds and Fried Mushrooms were beyond delicious. The have this homemade ranch sauce that is to die for!!! I am not a Ranch kind of girl but this homemade one had me rethinking my whole life! They were kind enough to blacken shrimp for me for the house salad and it MADE the salad once I cut it up and mixed it in real good! Topped with a coke we were in Heaven!!
As for the place, it was a qauint, locals bar and the atmosphere and condos show it. Everyone had an ease and familiarity about the place. Jokes all around and it was good to eat where locals frequent. In the back, they had a stage set with 3 Christmas tree to set the Holiday mood. This was a great thing as the Bar is directly across the Great Smoky Mountain Train Depot, which has the Polar Express train ride through the Xmas Season! Very fitting. Our server was Stephanie and she was also the Bartender. Very sweet and to the point kinda lady. We loved her immediately. Her recommendations were on point and she was very keen at listening. We never felt like a bother to her. Will be back for sure!!!

Been waiting for a service to take our order. We ask for more sauce for wings and her response was “kitchen was closed”. It’s was only 9:20 and we asked if we can get beef on our nachos and her response was “no we can’t”. Didn’t really enjoy our meal and we paid $53 and not get want we want. We should have less the time we ask for beef on the nachos.
