Overworked and underpaid staff. Pool tables are garbage. Owner drinks most of the time on and off the clock. Only redeeming quality is Eli who does the Karaoke entertainment the best. The other lady can't see and doesn't have a great karaoke database that's singer/operator friendly. Great location but leadership/ownership has no accountability nor enforces hours of operation nor the attitude of the staff towards patrons.

The picture you see below was NOT my full plate. It was so delicious I didn’t think about taking a photo until I was more than halfway done with my Philly cheese steak and onion rings. The food was AMAZING!! The outdoor tables offered a pretty view of the train depot and the server was great. And the biggest reason for a great review: my 4 year old who will not consume a cheeseburger from ANYWHERE except McDs ate his entire cheeseburger and fries and LOVED it!!

I guess this restaurant is racist....I just went with my family for a meal tonight just to get basically thrown off by their waitress on the patio. Sad about the poor service by this waitress and hope is just her and not the entire crew. Hope you can take a serious look on this issue. Business comes from all cultures and races not just white people.

My family and I have been coming to CJ's for years and our latest visit yesterday was no exception. We are always here during very busy times of the year and the food is always good, the people are always friendly, and we always have a great time.

Hopefully someone will read this review and save themselves from going to this place. The food was not good, the service was extremely slow and they weren’t busy. I had to ask for silverware as it is not provided to the tables. Shortly after eating here we all (7) of us contracted norovirus. May be a coincidence but judging how dirty the restaurant was I wouldn’t be surprised.

Went to this restaurant, as it is close to a popular tourist attraction. The service was extremely slow, the food was served cold (to the point of being inedible), and the level of cleanliness (or lack there of) for a food establishment was unsatisfactory.

Came in after the Polar Express. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived, service was slow and the food was ice cold by the time we got it. Unless you are looking for a cold beer at the bar I would not recommend this restaurant.
We walked in and there were seats available however no area with a hostess stand. We tried to get the attention of a server or bartender to find out if we seat ourselves. A waitress eventually came out and started waving her hands and very rudely told us to leave because they couldn’t take any more people.. she said they needed to “catch up”. She was extremely frantic and the place did not appear busy at all so it was very confusing.

Shame I can’t leave 0 stars for the food, half of which we didn’t receive. By the time they tried to “make it right” we had to catch the train. Next year we will plan it so we can go to the pizza shop next door.

I had the absolute BEST DOUBLE-CHEESEBURGER OF MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE HERE!!! It was cooked PERFECTLY medium-rare-to order, and my only regret is that I haven’t been able to make it back to Bryson City for another yet!! Shout out to the cook, Mike— He absolutely made my experience!
