Honestly, the only good thing I can say is the staff was friendly. What a JOKE!! My husband ordered the S.O.S platters ($22+) with FF and slaw. There were 4 shrimp, 3 scallops, and 3 oysters. There were just as many FF as seafood. We have never seen a seafood plate so sorry. He said the oysters in a can are bigger and better than what he was given. Yet, I ordered buffalo chicken plate and got 1/2 a chicken? It makes no sense! Very frustrated and extremely disappointed since this is the first I have eaten there and had heard great reviews. We are so disappointed at this point, I don’t believe we would try it again nor recommend.

While the servers were nice and the food was okay, the small children (of the staff) were running through the restaurant, helping to serve meals to patrons, shouting at one another while playing video games and eating food in the booth behind ours! (One even reached into our booth to use an electrical outlet to plug in his device). We watched an unsupervised barefoot toddler walk in and out of the kitchen while waiting for our meal. While I love kids, this was not the experience we were looking for on our Friday evening meal in Bryson City.

Awful I went to call a order in and the lady said hang on. Then I drove down there the phone was on the table maybe 3 tables . Had a 10 year old busting tables and seating people . Went way down never got food just left .

We came for breakfast and it was delicious! Whoever the cook was really knows how to cook eggs, they were perfect. I also asked for bell peppers and onions in my omelet and they used yellow bell peppers. I’d never had them in breakfast and it was great! My husband and I were both extremely pleased.

My family went to Jimmy Macs to eat this week for breakfast we waiting for about 5 to 7 minutes for someone to come wait on us.Well,.no came to wait on us.3 people was in the back ,they was cooking for 2 of their customers that was there.The only 2 was their. The waitress was on her phone lookup at us and continued looking at her phone. We'll from that point we left and went down to another place to eat.l would not go to that place to eat or tell people about that place.

The potato skins definitely tasted like they were made in house and came out rather quickly. The wings took about 20min. There were 3 servers and about 4 tables... it still took around 15min to come greet us and get drinks. If you're not in a hurry, the food is ok, but if you get impatient, this is not the spot to eat.

A great restaurant where throwback diner meets fine dining. The grilled trout was excellent. The mixed vegetables side was one of the best ever; stewed and well seasoned.
My spouse had the crab cakes which were also very good!

The waitress came and took our orders for drinks for eight. She jotted down our orders and separated them. The appetizers came out from a different server. We waited for a good 10 minutes and we asked another server for utensils. In the meantime, my nephew went to the restroom and observed the server playing on her phone. The food came out, my nephew requested grilled onions and tomatoes on the side, not on the hamburger. Thus my niece didn't eat her half of the hamburger. My daughter didn't receive her salad and we were half way done eating. My son wanted bacon on his sandwich, out of bacon. Would I recommend eating there, NO WAY The servers need to learn to listen and have a better attitude.

Server took my order, then returned with half my food, on top of that- half the order brought was messed up. 2 people out of my group of 8 didn’t even eat. We had to get utensils from other tables. We received no refills. We went to look for our server, who was in the kitchen sitting & playing/texting on her phone. To accommodate such crappy service we received a 2%. Never come here to eat. The food & service definitely isn’t worth the trip

I love coming to these small diners and getting local cusine. We had breakfast and it was fantastic. There was a decent wait as they seemed to be understaffed, but it was worth it! Will definitely be back next visit to Bryson City.
