We ate at Jimmy Mac’s twice this weekend for dinner while staying in Bryson. The food was great. The server was amazing. She even specifically made me a pecan pie for our second visit. Would highly recommend the NY strip and the filet. We’ll be regulars when we’re in town.
From the outside and local vibe I had expected to walk up to a counter and order a to go box but I was pleasantly surprised by my first visit. I got to sit down and rest, the wait staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Portions are HUGE and I definitely over ordered but that's ok because I took the rest to go. I can't wait to come back and next time I'll order the lunch size instead of the dinner size portion so that I have room to try the apple crumble cheesecake.
Our service was great. Couldn't have had a better server. Checked with us multiple times to see if we needed anything and making sure our food was good. One person got a hamburger, one got Philly steak sandwich, which they said was very good. I got the fried shrimp; but being from the coast, so i was disappointed. They weren't bad, but had too much batter and only got 8 shrimp and no hushpuppies and only one side. (very high priced) .. I would definitely go back; but...
