I recently moved to Bryson City and the first thing I asked My Sister Is ,"Where Is The Best Mexican Restaurant in Bryson City NC?!", and She Answered, " La Poblano!". And I have been there a couple times and I like it when it only takes me 30 seconds to get my hands on a bottle of the El Yucateco XXX Hot Sauce. I Know that I Am In The Right Place!!! I tried the Al Pastor Quesadillas tonight because people told me to try them. I have had better Al Pastor but still it's very good, really what I really enjoyed to My surprise was the blend of Cheeses that they used with the Quesadillas!!!

This place has authentic Mexican food!! I had the steak burrito and the steak was seasoned very well, tasted grilled. Also got the beans with nacho cheese, man that queso and the flavor of the beans were on point. The atmosphere was great and apparently the patrons loved the food as well. The seats in the restaurant filled up quickly

After reading so many great reviews we were excited for a good meal. The was food bland. Our guacamole dip was just mashed avocado and no spice. The steak fajitas were bland. There servers sat around eating while our chips and drink were empty and appetizers getting cold. The server delivered our food and walked away. My son had to get up for napkins. Our server never smiled once and had the meanest look on her face.Parking lot very dark. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

La Poblana is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the whole WNC area. I've never had a bad meal there, and the service is great! I took my son and daughter in law last week - they're both pescatarian and had plenty of delicious options. They also make fantastic margaritas.

Around July 4th we visited here while in town for the Smokey Mountain Gospel Sing. The food was delicious, waiter attentive, food was delivered quickly.
My enchiladas were half cooked and the cheese was not even melted. The margaritas were not good. I think they had too much lime or maybe just inferior ingredients. Our order was taken and the food delivered, but that was the last we saw of our waitress. That being said, my husband enjoyed his meal. When the check was delivered we were not told we had to go up to the cash register to pay.

Walked in on a Friday night and was seated immediately despite being very busy. Food was put in less than 10 minutes! Amazingly fast and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!
