I stopped in for breakfast and coffee before catching my train at the depot across the street, and I am so glad I did. This coffee shop is warm and cozy, with quick service and a genuinely friendly staff. The drinks are fully customizable, but they also offer a menu with plenty of great options if you are not sure what to order.
It is the perfect little spot for a quick stop, and the convenient location makes it even better. Overall, a charming coffee shop I would happily visit again.

Very laid back and welcoming. Staff was very kind and helpful. Tie dye, art, homemade quiches, pastries, all the cool and hot bevs. We went twice in a 2 day visit. Unprompted, the waitress wiped food off my friend’s mouth with her thumb… for personal/religious reasons we don’t touch others that way so this was rather uncomfortable. Sandwich was very good, bagel was not so good, black coffee was good, milky way coffee was very bad, it was a bit pricey but i imagine thats the location. Other than the touching, we got good service

This is such a fun and eclectic coffee shop. We stopped by on our way out of Bryson City and enjoyed talking with the owner and the locals. The food was delicious and felt homemade, and the coffee really hit the spot. If you're looking for somewhere to just hang out for a bit with a nice drink, this place fits that vibe.

My group stopped for a coffee before going on the train and all 3 of us ordered coffee. One cold brew, one latte, and one frozen coffee. They were HORRIBLE and tasted nothing like coffee. It just tasted like flavored milk. Service is great but the drinks were all horrid.
Mountain Perks is so fun and welcoming that we came back when visiting northwest NC again!

I got an iced latte. The coffee was fine, although they got my order wrong. Maybe it was just the time of day that I came, being shortly after the lunch rush on a weekend, but the staff weren't particularly friendly. Definitely not the vibe I was looking for. Price was high, too.

We came here twice on an extended weekend and got to try the house made gluten free options: quiche, bagels, and a very yummy raspberry oat bar. All were delish! My wife had the same but traditional (not gluten free) and she enjoyed it. Pam is the owner and was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Came in first thing in the morning, needed coffee before I could think or interact with other humans. The owner gave me a glass of water with my coffee and steamed the milk 👌. My new favorite place. Beautiful, clean restaurant, fantastic hospitality. The food smelled amazing
