I decided to come here with my family Yesterday and we decided to sit on the porch, we had a 5 adults and 2 kids, it was our very first time at rivers end restaurant and I’m sure it’ll be the last. We had Susan as our server who was extremely disrespectful and rude, she was super incompetent and couldn’t even answer our questions about the menu, she was slurring her words and just all over the place her eyes where all bugged out and it looks like she was on drugs, she had brought out all the wrong drinks and had to remake them all, She couldn’t remember any of our sides or anything and got very disrespectful when we asked her to fix it, by far worst server experience ever! I’d give her a 0 if I could

My family and I ate here today and it did not disappoint! We were on our way home from Georgia and this wonderful restaurant was halfway in between. The drinks, food, service,atmosphere were all 5 stars! My 7year old son ate a whole small pizza, my husband devoured his burger, my daughter loved the cheese fries, mac&cheese, and ranch, and I enjoyed my steak sandwich. The Bloody Mary with candied bacon made it very nostalgic for me ❤️ Don’t skip this restaurant and the opportunity to create a new memory!

YOU GOTTA TRY IT. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the view was top tier. We had an all around PERFECT experience. The Trout with Sherpa rice & Veggies was fantastic, but I was not expecting the pizza to be a definite star of the show as well.
Some extra tips: The only thing I would recommend is paying attention to the time you arrive. I arrived at 6, which I assumed was a very typical dinner time- the wait was very long & we weren’t seated until after 7. The wait was very pleasant, relaxing down by the river. I just felt bad dining so close to closing time, but the waitstaff were fast & efficient. We ordered, ate, and left well before closing. I would go a bit earlier next time, and also try to go when the other businesses at the NOC are open, so that I can do a bit of shopping while I wait. 😉😉 Excellent experience overall. Best birthday dinner ever! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful waiter, he was prompt and helped us with our selections. Our party of 4 had the smoked roast beef sandwich, an order of chicken alfredo, the cauliflower appetizer, and a burger. Everything was very good!
