My experience has always been a nice big bar with plenty of seating and a good beer selection. Bar seats are comfortable. Bartender very attentive. Prices are reasonable. Booths available for more seclusion too. There is something on the menu for almost everyone. Nice location. It’s got a small town feel where you can have a conversation with anyone and all get along. If I had one recommendation it would be add some grilled/fried favorites…reuben, onion rings, french fries etc.

My best friend and I decided to try something new for our “impromptu girls day” lunch/dinners. We decided to meet at Harvey’s for lunch and try a new spot for the Burgaw area. As we walked in, a large sign greeted us with please seat yourself, and so we did. About 15 minutes later other patrons came in and sat down as well. We only saw one bartender/server.. who completely ignored us and focused on the other table that came in after us. We sat for a few more minutes figuring “well maybe they are short staffed?” Only to have the same server assist a booth close to ours with checkout, look in our direction.. and still ignore us. Needless to say, we left after waiting about 25-30 mins and won’t be back.

The food here is Excellent. I have no idea how the cook can turn out top notch food. Her kitchen is tiny. Highly recommend eating at Harveys. We have been to their brunch on Sunday, she does a crab and asparagus quiche that is do good and Mimosas!!
