It is SO hard to find an authentic Italian market, with good meats and quality fresh items locally. I work in Burlington so when I found out about this place I HAD to go. I ordered 3 different paninis, the Fico, Capra, and Affumicato. All of them were DELICIOUS. You can tell from a mile away that the focaccia is fresh and the meats are superb. I also got the balanzoni burro e salvia pasta which was divine. I ordered a chocolate torta, they were out but replaced it with an olive oil cake with mascarpone and a note apologizing for the inconvenience. I am more than pleased with the service, quality and attention to detail. I will certainly be frequenting here & raving about it to everyone I know. Reminds me of my late father’s cooking. Worthy of every penny.

Best food in the area that I've come across. I would recommend the chicken parm sandwich the bread is made there and soooo good!

il Centro Salumeria provided several items for our Family Weekend get together. All the food was prepared with care and everyone raved about the tastes. We recommend the lasagne verde all bolognese, the baked cacio e pepe, the pizza al taglio Margherita and the meatballs. Insalata mista was also a favorite. In a world of knockoffs, this place is the real deal! Will definitely be back, thank you!

I’ve been in once and was told they didn’t have time to take my order. I’ve still been dying to try because the menu looks so good. I noticed they’re on DoorDash and was excited to order since it didn’t work out last time I came in…but my order has been cancelled TWICE now. I’ve tried calling the store and no answer. Is anyone actually able to eat here?

Unassuming on the outside but full of wonderful surprises on the inside! When you walk in, you see a deli case full of cured meats and salami, fresh salads and desserts of the day. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara and fresh salad. The chef went straight to work, making the pasta dish fresh and assembling the pasta. Not a lot of seating inside and out, but the chef told me to make myself at home and dig in. The carbonara was made with creamy egg yolk instead of alfredo, the pasta was al dente and the salad was crisp. Everything was delicious! I will have to come back to try a sandwich, or buy one of their fresh pastas or cured meats to go!

My husband and I ordered a light lunch from Il Centro Alimentari & Salumeria, and it was a very yummy experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the affumicato, prosciutto puffs, espresso sea salt caramel brownies, and olive oil cake. While everything was delicious, the real standouts were the focaccia bread, and the olive oil cake when paired with apricot preserves. The focaccia was a perfect blend of salty and sweet, with a unique texture that was both fluffy and chewy, and crispy in spots. These two items truly stole the show, making our meal memorable. We will definitely be back to try more items!

Popped in for a quick lunch and was delighted by the sights, sounds, and smells of this cute location. Tastefully decorated, it feels like you've transported to Italy. A staff member helped me make selections... the Fico sandwich and Olive Oil Cake were the 2 I tried. Just as he said... Fico is a beautiful combination of salty (meats, cheese) and sweet (fig jam) with a splash of savory (arugula and ground pepper) on focaccia bread. The bread... oh my, the bread. I could eat my weight in their focaccia bread. Perfectly crunchy outside with a soft spongy middle... flavors of olive oil and rosemary, sprinkled with salt flakes... it felt like the main ingredient of my sandwich. Meats and cheese were tasty as expected and the fig jam was nice... but the bread is the showstopper. It was my fist time having Olive Oil Cake which (in my opinion) most closely resembled pound cake. They served it up with mascarpone and apricot preserves. A little of each on every bit was a burst of sweet rich goodness. The cake was moist and very filling. If in the area again, I would love to come back for the pastas!!

Thomes?

Phenomenal flavor, honestly. I'd rather come here to eat pasta than someplace else like Prego's or Da Vinci. The two guys who worked there were also chill and friendly. What's not to love?

This Italian deli and wine shop makes house-made pastas and amazing sandwiches on house-made focaccia. The ingredients are imported from Italy and only the finest. There are few places to sit and eat so it is mostly take out. I expect to return often and believe it to be the best restaurant in Burlington.

Poor seating, pricy, great food, great service, and plating, amazing bread, Italian cold cuts, pepper spread, honey drizzled goats cheese. Don't eat the tiramisu, not great, pancetta not great. Amazing prosciutto puffs. great expresso cake, wine good, great Italian seltzers. Owner is from Australia, worked in Micheline star restaurants in Italy and NYC. Hard working chef. Not the greatest location for him, but amazing find.

Honestly the best restaurant and food in Burlington. A go to when I'm in town and a top recommendation when people ask me what's good in that town. Authentic Italian deli, ingredients, food, wine..you name it. Very small deli shop that could be hard to miss off S. Church Street, but it's a place worth stopping into for food. My favorite is by far the Porco which is porchetta served on some amazing focaccia with pesto, cheese, onions, and other ingredients. The focaccia is airy and has a crisp top layer that makes it a delight to eat. Their fresh made pasta dishes are also great and appreciate the time put into making those dishes. Another recommendation is the focaccia pizza slice - perfect. Plenty of fresh and to-order food but they also offer a lot of "catering" dishes ie variety of large pastas and sauces. My first two visits were back in March, and it's nice to see some menu items have changed for the summer...keeping up with seasonal ingredients. Chef Darren and Jordan are very accommodating and make sure you're taken care of. High, high recommendation for Il Centro Salumeria.

Amazing place to get a panini and more after getting a pedicure next door.

If you like the real stuff, this is the place. I don’t see how it isn’t tops in the region. You know it’s legit by the crust on the focaccia and guanciale in the carbonara among many other things. They’re also really nice and happy to answer questions. Don’t be turned off by the location; chef has long track record working in Michelin joints in nyc, lucky to have him in town. Kudos, chef and team!

Super legit; you can tell by the way they plate the pasta. The true focaccia crust, authentic meats, I could go on
