What a fun place! Colorful atmosphere, fresh simple food and service with a smile! Had lunch at Munch, my wife had the blackened tacos and I had a grilled mahi sandwich both were fresh and flavorful.

best food on Hatteras Island, awesome wraps and the fish tacos are incredible. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Great music, friendly people.

Went for lunch and had the old bay Mahi tacos. Phenomenal!!!! Everything was fresh and the fish was delicious. Roll your own tacos. Staff was awesome and the owner was super nice. Definitely reccommend!

I love this restaurant. The staff are friendly and inviting. The food is obviously made to order with fresh ingredients. I got the roll your own tacos with blackened Mahi Mahi, a cup of shrimp and corn chowder, and sweet potato waffle fries. I also got baklava for dessert BUT that isn’t always available so I felt special especially because it was the day before my birthday.

We had lunch here because my cousin recommended it, as they visit regularly. Great lunch spot, familiar favorites alongside specials like Grouper or Mahi Mahi for fish tacos. Local flavor, famous. Southern hospitality. Add this to your must do list!

Stopped while visiting the area. Ordered the shrimp and corn chowder along with a fried oyster po boy sandwich. Both were AMAZING!

We love eating here! We went for a later lunch and were seated right away. My husband got the fish tacos and I got the shrimp tacos- both were excellent.
My husband has celiac so both taco options were gluten free when paired with corn tortillas. The tortillas were brought out wrapped in foil.
A note that they do have a gluten free menu available however their tortilla chips are noted as gluten free but are made in a shared fryer. So, not safe for someone with celiac. The staff was very nice and helpful and asked about the shared fryer for me.
Dietary restrictions: My celiac husband was able to eat both the fish and shrimp tacos with corn tortillas. A shared fryer so the tortilla chips were a no-go.

Was fortunate enough to eat inside as this place is usually packed. Delicious food at good prices with great service.
The water on tap is not the standard beachy water you have to deal with down here, it was a great change of pace.
Music was pleasant but did not drown out our conversation.
Will definitely be back next year!

Love this place! It’s in a tiny strip mall of the side of the road. Was looking for fish tacos and came to the right place! We got the fresh fish each one mahi mahi and one grouper. It’s a build your own and it was amazing!
