I have never been to Cape Hatteras. I've always wanted to see the lighthouses there. Sunday morning, around 8 a.m., breakfast suddenly became priority #1, so I decided on Cafe Pamlico. I just want to take the time to express my gratitude to the attentive service and quality of food. Most importantly, I want to give a very big, warm thank you to Anne for a job well done. She went above and beyond the call of duty as my watris. I am very delighted and had a pleasant experience. I cannot wait to come back here next year! Cafe Pamlico is a fantastic place to have breakfast! Highly recommend!- Joseph.San Diego California

This is a wonderful restaurant with an amazing view of the sound. The food is exquisite and the service is very friendly. When they have live music, it adds to its great ambience. Highly recommend the shrimp & grits - it is one of a kind. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu - they have a nice variety.

Another wonderful Brunch at the cafe! Amazing service from the second we walked in until we walked out to our cars. I was made to feel very special on my birthday. Great drinks, as always, and all of the food came out looking & tasting amazing! Always an enjoyable brunch, especially on the patio with live music and the stunning sound views.

We came to Rodanthe for my husbands Birthday weekend! I made reservations in advance and I'm glad I did. One of the best meals for us so far this year. I had the Neptune and truly couldn't believe that I ate the entire meal. The Filet will be in my dreams! My husband had the crabcakes ( he's pretty picky about crabcakes too) he said they were the best he had in years! We may venture back out this way one day and Pamlico Cafe would definitely be a must. We really enjoyed it! Oh don't forget dessert! We had ours to go. Thanks for a great evening Steve! Stock Photos because we dug in haha!

One of the best overall dining experiences we have had in a long time. From our server Dallas to the seared scallop carbonara in squid ink linguine every thing was superb. A don't miss spot for sure.

From the view, to the food, to the service...everything was top notch! Very thankful to have stumbled upon this place as we were heading south down the outer banks and needed a solid breakfast spot to fuel us for the day. The service was quick and easy. The view was spectacular! And to top it off the breakfast was great! Thank you for having us!

Wow! The new winter menu is fantastic. The lobster and crab bisque and the scallop appetizer are both great. For dinner, we had the scallops, the shrimp and grits, the beef filet and the filet Neptune. Each meal was beautifully plated and delicious. The special cocktails had something for everyone and the wine list was well rounded. This was our first experience but it will definitely be a place we return to again and again.

We waited for a later time so that we could get indoor seating but they put us outdoor. The room was supposedly heated but it was absolutely freezing, I had to wear my winter coat during dinner. We've been here before and loved it but this new years dinner they "dropped the ball" no pun intended. The 4 course meal looked amazing on the menu and the salad and tuna tataki was amazing, for the entree I order the lamb and lobster and the lamb was good but tiny and lobster was overcooked and burnt tasting- it was the worst lobster I've ever had. Dessert was great but I was too frozen to care. Not the best experience but I would give it a shot again with INDOOR seating and I definitely would never get lobster again. Yuck!

Once again made a visit to the cafe at the Inn on Pamlico during the week after Christmas. Went for Sunday brunch on New Year's Eve, in prior years I've gone for dinner or brunch/breakfast. It's such a classy place regardless of the time of day or meal. Seated on time in a seat overlooking the sound. Excellent service throughout the meal including checking on me mid-way through and timely returning for the check. I had traditional eggs benedict which saw the eggs cooked perfectly with just the right amount of runniness and a nice hunk of ham instead of the traditional Canadian bacon. Well seasoned Hollandaise as well as perfectly cooked seasoned potatoes and a nice side of sausage. I'll always return for a meal when visiting Hatteras Island.
