What a fantastic little joint!
We got the blue crab stuffed ravioli and grilled salmon, sushi rice bowl! It did not disappoint!!! We will be making this establishment a must stop when we visit Hatteras Island!

Maggie the bar tender recommended the tropical margarita with pineapple and watermelon. It was light and refreshing! Very tasty!

By far our favorite place on Hatteras island.
We have been probably 5 or 6 times now.
The food is amazing…. No matter what we order it’s perfect!
The apps are great, dinner is wonderful and the drinks and dessert are unmatched!
We have had Debbie each time but one.
She is wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
We recommend Cockeyed Clam to everyone!!!!

We’ve been here the past three years and it was so good before probably best in the area. But unfortunately this year they took off there best appetizer, the bacon wrapper scallops, we got it everytime. Everything we ate was so bad, the lobster appetizer was overcooked, gross and so chewy. The broccolini was hard I don’t even think it was cooked. The “local tuna” was so bad and had no sear. And the ribeye was okay. And the server never checked how any of our food was so no chance to say anything. Didn’t want to be rude but sad to have spent 140 dollars in this economy on something when I could’ve had a better experience at home.

This place is just beautiful the ambience, the server,& the waiter you just can’t be it! I had the strawberry lemon drop that was delicious.

The stars are solely for our server, Debbie, who was excellent—friendly, attentive, and really on top of things. We were also seated right away on a Friday night, which was a pleasant surprise.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the service. We started with the lobster cargot, which was swimming in oil, and the seafood mac and cheese was the same—so greasy it actually made my stomach hurt after two bites. The scallops and coconut shrimp had potential, but they were served in so much broth they were more like a soup than an entrée. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Not sure if they are permanently closed, but closed on a Tuesday night. Rating five stars to not impact their reviews.

If you are familiar with OBX fresh seafood, I don't recommend going here - you likely will be disappointed in your food and even more so at your bill. This is for tourists from landlocked states who can't tell the difference between Sysco & the good stuff. Great service though.

We popped in for some very late lunch (it was around five, but it’s our anniversary so we’re on our own schedule) and had the black drum cotd and peel and eat shrimp. Beets and cucumber salad were sides for the catch. Everything was delicious. Our bartender took amazing care of us and we really just enjoyed everything about the experience. They had folks at the bar (my favorite place to eat) and parties from two to much larger. They’ve got it going on, great food, great vibes. Definitely recommend.

They do a great job with fresh catch. They respect the ingredients and it shows with the menu and specials.
Wine menu is solid and looks like great mix drink special.

The staff were very nice and kind, and the food was perfect. They don’t take reservations, but we just showed up and received great service. Their seafood menu is excellent! They also have lovely seating both indoors and outdoors — both areas are really pretty.

We ordered a few items to go and were so impressed with the flavors. The Gorgonzola cream sauce on the Tuscan chicken was great, and the coconut curry sauce with the scallops and coconut shrimp was what really wowed me. It had great depth and a bit of a kick to it, it was so flavorful! We’ll be back.
