These are the best Apple fritters (if you can even call them that) on the planet and I’ll fight you on it. They’re as dense as a bowling ball and they’re filled with what tastes like granny’s homemade apple pie filling. If it was all they sold, they’d be worth of 5 stars. But everything else is great too. If you’re anywhere on the Outer Banks, this place is worth the trip.

Found this little gem.on a trip to Hatteras Island after talking to.some locals at Liberty gas station. They told us we should go check out the bakery and their "apple uglies". We did and it was amazing. So glad we stopped by..the staff was super friendly and the treats were absolutely delicious!

So I thought the apple ugly could not be beat. Then today I tried their cinnamon roll. Omg that icing! And the crunchy cinnamon layers! The breakfast sandwiches are so good -- like they really worked to put together egg bacon and cheese that go together well -- and the homemade bread they're served on is delicious. The donuts are also so yummy. The staff is so friendly even when swamped with people. Love this place!.

Orange Blossom is AWESOME! If you haven’t been before, you have to get an apple ugly. Everything, and I mean everything, they have is downright delicious. Thank you for being open during the offseason!

If I could give 6 stars I would!Best breakfast in Buxton! Get there early and enjoy an apple ugly or other fine pastry, biscuit or sandwich. Coffee is $1 refills. We should have gotten an extra for the road. If locals and regulars know about a place you know it’s good.Thankful we visited them on their last day of being open for the season.Parking: We visited late December 2023, parking was fine when we arrived just after 7am, but started getting busy soon after.Kid-friendliness: Our teens loved the atmosphere and products! Little toddler in front of us was diving into the donut holes!

• We visited Thursday morning in late December 2023 (after Christmas)• We saw on google they were close to where we were staying and opened early and had good reviews and decided to give it a try.• Pulling in it was packed parking lot and because it had been raining for over 2 days part of the lot was flooded and difficult to maneuver when we got there.• We walked in and there was 2 groups ahead of us but everything looked SOOO good. We heard online that we had to try the Apple Uglies and so happy we did. We got 2. They were like $5 but SOO worth it. Baked perfectly and filled with so much apple cinnamon and sugar. They were HEAVY! We also got the deep-fried peach pie and the blueberry pie (I think they were like $4.50 and totally worth it). Just drooling they were soo good too. Our youngest wanted the little donut holes and I think it was like $5 for dozen or $0.50 each. We got a dozen, and he loved them.• If we were in the Cape Hatteras area we would stop by again for sure.• We bought the baked good and drove over to the Hatteras National Seashore Visitor Center and ate them there while waiting for the visitor center to open. The dining are inside seemed to be closed when we visited anyways.Parking: It was a decent sized lot but apparently they are just super popular. It didn't help that it had rained for 2 days straight and one of the entrances was a giant pond. There was also a truck with a boat in tow blocking majority of second entrance.

Great stop for travelers coming back towards the mainland. Super easy to access alongside NC-12. The atmosphere was great, super cozy and the staff was super polite! The food was to DIE for. I got a chocolate donut, a burrito and a cinnamon roll, I’ll just let the picture of the burrito speak for itself (yes it’s as good as it looks). Would absolutely stop by again if I’m ever back in this area!!

The uglies, omg. The apple hand pies are amazing too. But the best thing we had was a straight up bacon, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. I would drive there daily for one of those every morning. Absolutely the most delicious. Can't wait for next year already, lol.
