We have been to Beck's many times. Always happy with the consistent great food and service. Lilly, our server, was fantastic! Love the oyster cocktail, even though it wasn't on the menu. We will be back.

Greasy scallops, very small shrimp—pretty sure they were frozen. Quite sure it was NOT local. And I absolutely could not believe the small portions, even though I paid for large. Was told by the server and the lady at the register that portion size really depends on the cook/person preparing the plate?!?!? Really?? Management should set a standard and every “cook” should abide by that standard. Try somewhere else. I will not be returning.

Food was quite expensive and not great. I decided to try a cheeseburger for my first time there and that was a mistake. The burger was twice the size of the bun, which made it hard to eat and not as good. Not to mention the bun was so thin and it squashed instantly when I picked it up. Definitely from Walmart. The patty itself was not good either, it tasted like a reheated frozen round that was purchased somewhere. Very cheap quality for the price of the burger. Service was pretty good.

My daughter and I stopped by Beck’s on a Tuesday afternoon, and the place was packed—which immediately told me the food had to be good. Our server greeted us right away and was incredibly sweet. We ordered the steam pot for two, and wow… it was huge—definitely more than enough for two people—and absolutely delicious. Every bite was worth it.

The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The decor matches the coastal theme that it should for the area. The server was great; she took great care of us. The hostess was minimally friendly. The guy who took our money at the register was also minimally friendly. Other than this the place was phenomenal.

Ordered the Okra Basket, a house side salad with no dressing, and the small seafood platter and kids flounder filet. The food was decent and the service was quick. Everyone at the table agreed that the hush puppies were the standout of the meal.

Worst scallop dinner I’ve ever had in my life . Excuse me as I’m still chewing these stringy bland . Just chew and chew turns into stringy material . Ordered a loaded baked potato with it . NEWS flash loaded doesn’t mean a tube of sour cream. It’s chives cheese bacon bits butter although I got a butter that was all liquid. You should be ashamed charging someone $30 for overcooked stale scallops . Where’s Ella!
