Loved this place. Ask for a shirt, they had none for sale. They must have sold me employee shirts, which is fine with me. Thanks! Also the food was fantastic.

We ordered fried shrimp with fries and hush puppies. Everything was delicious, the shrimp were large and the breading was excellent. The hush puppies were bite size and came with a delicious honey butter. The fries were the perfect texture.Very well priced.

By far the BEST crab cake sandwich I’ve ever had! My husband was drooling over his pulled pork and we couldn’t get enough of the fries and hush puppies. Will 100% be back again soon!

Food - 3 out of 5Prices - 5 out of 5Staff - 5 out of 5Food was good, nothing special but it's kind of a burger/seafood joint. So don't expect the Boundary House. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Crabcake "burger" was OK, I wouldn't order it again. Prices were very fair. If you're on a budget but want some seafood, this is a decent place to go.

This little hole-in-the-wall burger joint offers so much more than hamburgers. The menu includes seafood, traditional down-east sides and fresh Carolina barbecue. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed as it should be in a sleepy little beach town near the border of North and South Carolina. My friend and I opted for the Calabash Crabcake Burger. It was an absolutly wonderful sandwich with shrimp, tartar sauce, cole slaw and a flavorful crabcake. We paired ours with fried okra and hand-dipped onion rings which made for a perfect meal. We took advantage of our beautiful spring day and dined at the outdoor tables where a pig cooker was fired up, smoking fresh pork for pulled barbecue. If you're traveling down the Ocean Highway of Hwy 17, take a detour through Calabash and stop in at Bennett's Grill and Café. You won't regret it.Parking: Parking adjacent to and behind the restaurant.

Delicious Calabash-style seafood. Yummy clams and excellent broiled fish in our Sampler Platter. We will definitely return! Friendly, busy, locals' place, not a froo-froo restaurant. (And a fun thrift store next door ?)
