The Boundary House Restaurant

Food and atmosphere was great! We took 2 relatives in for dinner. Our salad were chilled and fresh and served with a flaky croissant. Our entrees were Fried Flounder, Blackened Flounder, Prime Rib and Blackened Grouper w/mango sauce All delicious Reservations recommended even in the off season

The food and service is always excellent here. We usually come twice when we visit the area. Nowhere else is as good!

Consistently delicious food and great service, one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I never hesitate to invite guests to dine at the Boundary House.

We look forward to every Boundary House experience because we know we'll be treated extremely well and fed just as well.

We love The Boundary House. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! We eat here fairly often and have never had a bad experience. Prime rib, blackened flounder, and hurricane chicken are three of my favorites. The boundary salad served with beef and seafood dishes or as an add-on is amazing.

As always, the food at the Boundary House never disappoints. The house salad is a favorite.

The service was terrible! The waiters brought out my salad before the appetizer! Just figured it was a mistake then comes our food , we asked the waiter what happened to our appetizer, he said I'm not your waiter and had an attitude!!! Our waiter finally showed up and he said that nobody brought it out? Ok asked for some steak sauce he said ok I'll be right back , never showed up!!! Has to go get it from the cooks ! Next asked for the manager and she offered us a dessert for free but didn't make up for the terrible time we had especially it was our 40 th wedding anniversary!!

The Boundary House never disappoints. We prefer to sit outside as it's a bit quieter but that wasn't an option last night so we did sit inside. The food, as always, was impeccable. We chose to split the prime rib with an extra salad and it was perfect!

Had the shrimp and grits . Not much too it . 6 small shrimp on a bowl of over salted grits w a few slivers of sausage and a tablespoon of sauce - disappointing. Others had different dishes that were good. Waitress was training someone and I'd say wasn't happy about it . Indifferent attitude. Uninterested in being there . We had no special request or complaints to her but she wasn't pleasant ..

We had lunch and dinner here this vacation. It has been our favorite restaurant for years but was disappointing this year. We had flounder for lunch and 2 of the 3 servings were overcooked. We decided to give it another try for dinner. My son really liked the blackened flounder. Another member of the party enjoyed his medium rare salmon. My salmon was okay but not as good as my husband cooks at home. And the scallops appetizer was very disappointing. With 5 very small scallops for $21. We will be looking at other restaurants next year when we vacation in the area.

The prime rib and crab cakes were excellent! Great experience for first time there. Will be back.

Food has definitely gone down hill. Husband ordered scallops and I had House salad (which was size of a side salad just spread out on dish) with blackened salmon. Menu lists eggs, bacon and pecans but only had eggs. No dressing came with salad and when asked waitress took drink orders from other tables as she went back. We realized she was consolidating her trips but not always a good idea. Sitting farthest from kitchen was not ideal place. Food was warm, evidently had been sitting for a while. For the prices paying food and service should be better.

The Boundary House makes the best crab cakes ever! My husband thought his salmon was delicious. We were glad we had made reservations because the place was packed and people were waiting for a table.

The flounder was tuff.
