Loved the Croissants with drizzled honey butter with our salads! Always great food! I loved the blackened shrimp.
We love eating at the boundary house! Anytime anyone visits from out of town we always make reservations and our company loves it as well. The hot buttered croissants are fantastic. The hot bacon dressing on your salad is amazing and drool worthy. Sometimes when we go, we like to get there without reservations and they take our number and we get to go into the little shop next-door and shop while we wait.
Great service. Honey croissants are perfect. Go during the week and enjoy the Christmas store afterwards!
My recent visit to The Boundary House Restaurant was absolutely delightful, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the atmosphere was just right for a relaxing meal. The food was, as always, exceptional. Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. It's clear that the kitchen takes immense pride in their culinary creations. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the outstanding service provided by our server, Bradley. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. Bradley anticipated our needs without being intrusive, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured our drinks were always refilled. His professionalism and warm demeanor made our evening even more enjoyable. It's rare to encounter such dedicated and personable service, and Bradley truly made a difference.
we go to boundary house about three times a year while on vacation. This time was a bad bad experience. Understandably it was very, very crowded and they seemed understaffed as we waited for a very long time between courses and fur a drink. But the biggest issue... There were flies everywhere!!!!!!!!! Literally there was a fly in my dipping sauce. At least seven flies just sitting next to us at the window pane . It was disgusting. and we were eating inside. We ended up having them wrap up our food and we took it home to eat. Disappointed.
We were seated at time of our reservation. Placed our order within a few minutes but waited almost 30 minutes on our food!! Several tables around us also had waited a long time for their food.
Our food was outstanding and our waiter was excellent. But the kitchen lost one of our orders and that person waited 15 minutes for her salad while the others ate and finished theirs. Then her entree was 20 minutes arriving after the others were served and finished eating. It was very frustrating. Our waiter worked very hard to correct the problem but wasn't very successful. We have had great experiences in the past at The Boundary House and will try again next year.
Everything was perfect except for the noise level and the restaurant was not completely full.
As always we had a great meal and our server Chandler R was outstanding. We told him we thought he did a great job and he informed us he had only been there 3 weeks. They should be proud of having him work for the restaurant!
Today was the slowest for drinks and food ever. Not sure what they were doing but it was very busy and maybe not prepared for the rush hour lunch of summer. As a local we will be back in September or so! We had a reservation for 6 and it was 45 m for drinks and 1 hour + for lunch!! Crazy!!

Everything was excellent except for the checking in process! We had a reservation and we had to wait as they were changing shifts. They were letting folks get seated that didn't have reservations before we were seated. If my wife didn't go up and ask them what‘s going on, we would have waited even longer. Then we were told we couldn't order a baked potato until 4:00 PM???? The waitress was fantastic!
It was loud. My salad was soaked in dressing. My southern stile pork chops had a pice of paper stuck on it
It was fried into it. When my parents were alive. We went here a lot. It was a 5 star. But I see it is a 4.4. Now. When the manager came to our table. She said it was a pice of bone. It definitely was paper fried into it. She thought she was being so nice she said there was no charge for my plate. We'll no duh. I did not eat anything. We will not go back.
Blackened flounder was super dry, shrimp and hush puppies tasted like fried in old burned oil. Bot worth the hype or price
Very busy but food was good. We had a large party but a great server!
This is a gluten allergy reviewer.
They have a gluten free menu upon request. They have nice selection, a gluten free potato bun which was delicious. I got the burger which was really good. Our server was amazing, super attentive and helpful. The biggest issue I have is the substitution cost for the gluten free meals. Fries comes with the burgers but they are not gluten free so we have to choose between the options they have for us. It still costs for the substitution which is $4. It just seems weird.
The wait was ridiculous but at no fault of the restaurant, just people not leaving as quick estimated. We did wait 2 hrs for a party of 8 on a Thursday so just be prepared and I suggest making a reservation which can only be made before 4 pm if it's day of.
