We found this place on accident because our usual seafood spot was closed. It's on the side of the road. A quiet little nook. This fish and shrimp here was so good! If you were to eat outside, they have a sink she you can wash your hands when you are done. I just think that is so conveinent. All they need to do is add some honey and brown sugar to the hush puppies, and they would be spot on! We definitely will be back!

The food is good when it finally arrives. The place is woefully understaffed and I did not see any signs indicating they were hiring. Expect waits at every turn, including 15+ minutes to take a drink order after you're seated and 45 minutes-1 hour for food. On just the two tables adjacent to me, one got up and left due to poor service, and the other complained about waiting an hour on food. The staff there is trying hard and they are nice but there is not nearly enough of them.

I ordered two hot dogs , mustard chili and onions . My hot dog had a ton of mustard and a little bit of chilli . I called and asked for the manager , she said what ? Then said let me hand him the phone .A older Gentlemen, answered the phone. I proceeded to tell him that his hotdogs were very hard. I’m not sure if they were in a steamer too long, or how they cook them , he told me they are fried to order . I told him there is no way they were fried to order ! He told me they are supposed to be . I told him they were 4.50 he said “ you knew that when you ordered them “. I explained I did understand that but they were not edible ! He told me I’ve I drove BACK DOWN THERE WITH THE HOT DOGS he would refund me my money . I told Mr.Ray I drove all the way there miles , that I could not drive back tonight , he told me “ I dont No what to tell you “ well that’s my experience.

Stopped in while on a motorcycle ride, and we couldn't have been happier finding this little gem!! We had the large and deluxe calabash plates, and they were more like 2 or 3 meals! Everything tasted perfectly cooked!! The service was exceptionally wonderful as well!!!

Heard so much about this place. I was so disappointed. The food was goody. We had the 32$ platter and shared a salad, 3 tomato wedgesand ice burg lettuce, that’s it.we got a lot of food, but the shrimp were popcorn shrimp, the fish tasted iffy. I’m not sure what. The thing that bothered me the most is that our waitress didn’t seem to care if we were sat or not. Never came back had to flag her down gortsalad dressing for our salads. Waited and waited for our check and to go box. Finally ask the other young server if he would get our waitress for us. She was too busy talking to locals and ignored him too! When she finally brought our check and box there was no apology, except she said. I’ll be back to get those plates out of your way, she should have done that 25 min ago. When I went up to pay the lady there started taking my mine and then turned away and started talking to somebody at the window. I waited for awhile and finally just left. Never got a thank you or have a nice day. Won’t go back. I’ll stick with Nances or the Boundary House! They both treat you great and the food is worth it!!
Good food! Nice atmosphere. But... our server seemed rushed and got aggravated because I forgot to tell him I'd like tomato and lettuce on my flounder sandwich (he sighed and said well now I can't add the uncharge for the tomato and lettuce to your bill). Overall, it is a nice place with good food.
