Went today for breakfast and was very dissappointed we have been coming here for more than a year every other weekend and always was great. Last week and today waited 35+ minutes from placing our order to being served. Once food arrived my toast was burnt as was my ham. I understand it was busy but really, i think they cooked my toast for 35 minutes. The server asked if i would like a box and I replied would you? That being said we will miss Lauren she is an awesome server and they will suffer with tips due to slow service which is new. Needless to say we will go elsewhere for breakfast.

While visiting the Sunset Beach area we visited Sunny Side Up Diner. The breakfast was excellent, coffee exceptional and great service. I really enjoyed the Sausage Gravy and Biscuit while the eggs were made perfectly for my taste. Super diner and would gladly visit again.

This was an abysmal experience. The lima beans were rancid, the sandwich (reuben) was cheap "lunch meat," small portions (half an ice cream sized scoop of potatoes), mediocre service (When expressed the experience was lackluster, no effort was made to rectify the ticket). Service dropped food on the floor. I threw up the "meal" before I even got to the car! By far, it was a worst experience at a restaurant, ever. If I could give it no stars I would.

Stopped here for lunch today. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient, but the food took a long time to arrive. One person in our group ordered the Tomato Bisque; she said it was good but she's had better. Another ordered the Double Cheeseburger and said it was one of the best he's had. My son refused to eat his Chicken Strips, as they were tough and rubbery. The waitress said it happens often that the kitchen overcooks the chicken. Unfortunately, we still ended up paying for the chicken. We've had both breakfast and lunch here, and will most likely just stick to breakfast.

The advertised sign said Haddock with 2 sides for 8.95. We ask for the special. Waited for over 1/2 hour and the food was cold and terrible. Got the bill. Charged us 11.99 each. The cashier said she didn't know where the man was that put the sign up but it wasn't right. She would not honor the sign. That was down right sorry! We won't be back!!

Beware, they charge 4% if you use a credit card and you don't find out until after you pay. They charge more than any other breakfast place in the area. Be warned.

Dont waste your time. Went there on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, around 130pm. One of the specials listed on the sign posted “Fried Chicken”. Went in, sat down, and there was probably 12 people in there. Took the waitress almost 10 mins just to come get our drink order. One of us wanted the fried chicken special and the waitress said, it takes 30-35 mins. Why would you have a special and not have some waiting ? Anyway…disappointing, ordered something else. Probably could’ve gotten the chicken because it took almost 20 for our food to come out. “Burger” was nasty, tasted like a chuck burger or something much cheaper. Had onion rings, extremely bland and thing. Definitely not goin back. I’ve heard the breakfast was good, but not taking another chance there.
Have always wondered about this resturant because of the lines on the weekends of customers waiting to get in. We decided to give it a try. Since the parking lot was full, we thought we would have to wait at 9AM, but we were seated immediately since there were very few people there. The service was poor, food was not what we would call even just OK. The plate was 3/4 full of homefries, the bacon tough & the egg (supposed to be over medium)was singed on one side. We won't be dinning here anymore.
