We went to Toasted for brunch to celebrate my birthday while family was visiting from Indiana, and WOW… what an experience!
Nick, the owner, took care of us and was AMAZING. He was so welcoming, incredibly accommodating, and kept us entertained with great stories. He walked us through their specialty foods and all the cocktails and mimosas — and of course we had to try the mimosa flights. Several of us ordered them and they were absolutely delicious!
The food was just as incredible — easily some of the best brunch we’ve ever had. We were a loud, laughing group, and not only did no one seem to mind, Nick even said he loved our vibe. A woman at another table told us she enjoyed listening to us having such a good time, which made the experience even more fun.
When we left, every single person said the same thing: that was the best breakfast/brunch experience they’ve ever had. I was so glad we chose Toasted to start my birthday celebrating off right — we’ll definitely be back!

The owners were amazing, the food and the drinks were awesome. They have 50 different mimosas, and 15 different bloody Marys. So I had to have a flight. Everything was amazing.

We went there with five adults and three children. The food we all had was delish. The children’s menu was great and included Salmon which was delicious. The filet Oscar was super . The crab and shrimp appetizer was full of shrimp and crab. We definitely will be back.

Amazing food, crazy Bourbon selection! We walked in and there was only one other table seated, but staff was fantastic and the food was great. The Awakened Bacon Filet sandwich was so tender, the Eddie Munster Prime Rib Sandwich was loaded, and the Toasted Surf & Turf was phenomenal.

Decided to go here with my sister to celebrate my birthday. Called the day before to make a brunch reservation for 6. 4 ladies decided not to show up before our reservation. We walked in and the Host was the absolute worst. I said good afternoon I’m here for the noon reservation but 4 ladies decided not to come I do apologize is that ok? She says very angrily Why Didn’t You Call! I saved that table and all you had to do was call!! I was at a loss for words because people were standing behind us it’s a packed restaurant and we’re getting scolded like kids. So embarrassing all I could say was sorry. So she says Just stand there and let me take care of the people behind you. She then asks well which table do you want to sit at which I picked the corner. She cleaned it off and told the waiter You can go ahead and sit them with an attitude. The waiter was the highlight of my birthday. So bubbly and sweet I only wish I caught her name. She had piercings in her face and quit beautiful. Outstanding service which made us forget the host and enjoy the day until a party got seated next to us which was our reserved table. The host seated them and stood there talking to them making them laugh and feel comfortable but she never came by to greet or say anything to us. Again our server was so over the top we brushed it off and enjoyed the birthday brunch. Food was excellent as always.

When you go to TOASTED in Calabash, you're usually not there for healthy choices/diet food, but today, I selected an Avocado Bravado salad and it was so good. I selected the grilled shrimp as my protein. The shrimp were large and grilled to perfection. The salad itself tasted very fresh and there was a generous portion of avocado in the salad base. It was too large to eat all of it at once, so I brought half of it back home and ate the rest for dinner. Salads don't usually keep well, but this one was the exception. The next time I'm in there, I'm ordering it again.
