I was hoping to use this bakery for my wedding cake. However, I quickly changed my mind after speaking with the owner. They refused to do a wedding tasting with me because I'm planning my wedding more than a year out. When I asked why, they basically told me I was too stupid to remember what cake I'd want. To not only turn away a paying customer, but to also insult my intelligence is ridiculous. I have a wedding planner and excellent team. There's a zero percent chance I'd ever forgot such a major item I picked out for my own wedding. It's such a shame for a company to turn down business, especially over such a special occasion. By the time they're willing to do a tasting with me, I will have already picked out my bakery. I definitely won't be returning.

Meg is hands down the best! Not only do we make sure we get her cinnamon rolls every single Christmas and goodies whenever we can, but she also did my wedding cake and all desserts and goodies for the entire wedding weekend. Everything was phenomenal! If you are looking for someone who is going to pour love into everything she does and you want delicious cakes and pastries, Whisk is where you want to go!

They refused to offer me a cake tasting because I'm planning my wedding more than a year out. It's quite unfortunate for them because by the time they're willing to offer me a tasting, I will have already chosen my bakery. Such a shame.

We used Whisk to make a small cake for our cake-cutting ceremony at our wedding last month, and it was absolutely delicious - chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling. We’ll be dreaming about that cake for a long time. After there was a mix-up with the pickup date, Meg went above and beyond by offering to finish the cake before closing. We really appreciated her kindness, flexibility, and excellent customer service. Really glad to have such a fantastic place right here in Candler!
