Our daughter recommended Black Bear Cafe to us after she had sampled their food at a catered lunch she had attended. Although we've lived in the area for a very long time, this was our first visit and we definitely will be returning! We all had the Wednesday special-- beef tips with peppers, onions and mushrooms, baked potato, green beans, and a roll!! 2 of us had a hot fudge sundae and the 3rd person had the peanut butter pie for dessert. We are from TX and come to the area every year, this is one of the must visit eaterys every trip!\nVery good food, amazing hand scooped real ice cream shakes, not that soft serve blended with syrup crap!\nPrices are fair, and there's a table outside if you have a dog woth you. (Needs more tables, minus 1 star)
And I don't give all 5* ratings ever.... this place is awesome. The only drawback is the place is generally packed... but for good reason... and the fact that my walk in take order only took 10 minutes is crazy!!!
