We are from TX and come to the area every year, this is one of the must visit eaterys every trip!\nVery good food, amazing hand scooped real ice cream shakes, not that soft serve blended with syrup crap!\nPrices are fair, and there's a table outside if you have a dog woth you. (Needs more tables, minus 1 star)
And I don't give all 5* ratings ever.... this place is awesome. The only drawback is the place is generally packed... but for good reason... and the fact that my walk in take order only took 10 minutes is crazy!!!
I usually order to go when I am too lazy to make a home-cooked meal. The food is good, generous, and well worth the price. I like different restaurants for different reasons. This falls into my "guilty pleasures/greasy spoon" category of restaurant, not because its a dive but because it is simple, decent, southern comfort style food.
