Dine in closed, looks rundown and not welcoming, we left

Used to love to go there.
It has gone down hill.

Don't waste your time or money! Despite no customers, we waited 15 minutes or more for (2) 4 piece bbq strips that I'm pretty sure were from Walmart frozen section smothered in sauce but were barely warm, fries were cold and cokes had no ice and were flat. I'm guessing they were poured from a 2 liter. Sadly they didn't even have the common sense to grab ice from the gas station they're connected to.

The girl with the bright red hair was extremely rude and annoyed at the fact that we ordered food. Thanks to her, we was not able to get all of our kids food. We literally just asked for 3 chicken tenders and was told no. So we left and she slammed the door closer and locked it behind us! Mind you this was 45 minutes before closing. We have been coming to this Dairy Queen for as long as I can remember even as a kid. We will not be back thanks to this extremely mean and rude employee.

I was on my way to Asheville, and this location is somewhat on the way so I stopped here for lunch. You have to take an exit and go a little down the road to get to it, and getting back on the road to go towards Asheville is pretty easy. I ordered a 4-piece chicken strip basket with cheese curds as my side, and ranch as the dipping sauce. I had my own drink so I did not order a drink. I ordered using the app and then went inside to let the workers know that I had placed an order. When I entered, there were only a couple of workers, and they were in the back. It took a couple of minutes for them to see that I was waiting (which is fine, they are busy doing their job,) and then my food was given to me. The food was pretty average. The chicken felt a little old and dry, but they were revived a little bit with the sauce. The cheese curds felt like they had been dropped recently so they were hot. The marinara sauce that comes with the cheese curds is good, too. Overall, I had a decent experience here and I appreciated that I was able to get my lunch here.

Terrible service 3 people working took forever ice cream was melted and very dirty don’t recommend, one employee was crying in the back

Traveling in I-40 and wanted a treat. The dining room is closed. 85¢ blizzard only available through the app. 😐

Ordered a chocolate extreme ice cream cake for my wife's birthday on3/26/25 and was told I could pick up on 3/27/25 after 5 pm and when arrived the had not.made it and never called me and I drove 49 minutes to get it and they was a young kid said I will make it and charge 1/2 price and started making it with vanilla ice cream and said it would be ready in 20 minutes I asked how long would it stay frozen and he said a few minutes was told yesterday it would have to be in the freezer for at least 4 to 5 hours to travel. A girl at ingles next door said that happens alot . Needless to say we are having cheese cake and ice cream for her birthday

Terrible service, 3 employees inside, no customers in store, one customer ahead of us in the drive thru (that they also took forever to help). We got up to the window, were asked to wait, and waited 10-15 minutes with no follow up, until we just opted to leave. The app also says they're closed even when they're open so you can't order online, and they don't accept gift cards. Terrible location.

Always closed and when they’re open always a bad attitude about serving people.
