Absolutely in love so far with this place. I called an order ahead and they were so kind and accommodating. Only ordered a couple coffees this time but “oh my gaww”! So yummy!! I will definitely be ordering coffee again and will definitely be dining in ASAP! I can’t wait to try their breakfast items, they look delicious! Such a gem in the mountains of WNC, great before your morning him and situated in the small town of canton. The people are nice and the coffee is great. Also the only place I’ve seen with 100 on the cleanliness rating by restaurant inspectors. Highly recommend.

With all the fantastic reviews, we've been wanting to try Papertown Coffee for a while now, especially the "desserts." We arrived at 2:15 PM on a Friday (they close at 3) and were surprised to find them bringing in the outside tables already. So much for drinking/eating there - already felt as though we were imposing. Walked inside, and the feeling continued. Three people working - nobody welcomed us or even said a word. Just felt like we weren't supposed to be there (perhaps we weren't). Went over to look in the display case - only dessert they had was one type of cookie. Pass. Guessing the selection was much better earlier - lesson learned. But we ordered 3 drinks, "to go" of course at this point. Coffees came out fresh, hot, and quickly. But again, the entire staff seemed to be in horrible moods. Barely said anything when we thanked them and wished them a good rest of their day/weekend. Bottom line is the coffee was decent, desserts "gone", and unfriendly staff. Perhaps we should try again much earlier in the day. But not sure it's worth it at this point. There are better options a few minutes away in Waynesville (Smokey Mountain Roasters, Coffee Cup Cafe) and Candler (Dripolater).

I love Papertown!!! The staff is always so nice now, and the quality of food and drink never disappoints! The pimento cheese croissant sandwich is my absolute favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of their fresh pastries for brunch!!!

We are visiting the area and stopped in for a cappuccino. The cappuccino, lemon bar we couldn't resist, and service were all excellent.
We have tried a lot of coffee shops in many cities and towns, and nothing comes close to Papertown! All their syrups are made in house and the hometown vibe can’t be beat. We wait all year to get our hands on our first Autumn Spice Latte of the fall season, but Papertown Coffee’s other craft syrups do not disappoint! The owners and staff are so sweet. They make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Downtown Canton is lovely and full of wonderful restaurants, shops, and fun activities for the whole family! From milkshakes, hot chocolate, and steamers for the kids to outstanding seasonal offerings, this place is a must stop in the area. Papertown is the perfect spot for quick and delicious coffee, tea, breakfast, and lunch…oh, and cute merch!
