This was completely random. We were driving back home from Tennessee and wanted lunch. Let me tell you, the service was awesome. Everyone was so nice. The food is top notch. The pimento cheese is some of the best I have ever had, second only to Augusta National. Shrimp and grits were absolutely in my top 3 of all time. Fried okra lightly breaded and cooked nicely. My neighbors have lunch together once a month and today we ate at Southern Porch. The menu is large and varied enough for everyone’s taste. The food was great as was the service. I believe our waiter’s name was Hayden.

This is absolutely the best restaurant in town. I’d wager to say it’s the best in WNC… Do yourself a favor and give these fine folks a chance to serve you with great food, great drinks, and even better staff. Top notch from the front of the house, to the bar, kitchen, waitstaff, and management. I am a local business owner myself, and it’s our hometown communities that keep us going. BTW, Beck is AWESOME!!!
