I usually order to go when I am too lazy to make a home-cooked meal. The food is good, generous, and well worth the price. I like different restaurants for different reasons. This falls into my "guilty pleasures/greasy spoon" category of restaurant, not because its a dive but because it is simple, decent, southern comfort style food. Don't go for Michelin Star or for fusion foods, but when you want something comforting like grandma would have made it. I give it a 5 star rating...read full review
New to area and looking for old fashioned Diner food...this place is AWESOME ...great service, fantastic food and plenty of both...have definitely found a weekly place to go!!!!
Our daughter recommended Black Bear Cafe to us after she had sampled their food at a catered lunch she had attended. Although we've lived in the area for a very long time, this was our first visit and we definitely will be returning!
