Food was great. Beer was cold. And they were checking on me constantly to see if everything was alright. Best food you can get in the area.

For the life of me, I cant figure out why this place has some low rate reviews. Took my mom for dinner before heading to gamble close by and the food and service was top notch! I will certainly be back!!! Great job Sagebrush!!!

If I could I'd give this place zero stars and I am appalled on how my family and I were treated. Wait staff and hostesses paid us no mind and did not even attempt to greet us. Patrons in the business gave us dirty looks and we were basically pushed out the doors. I have never experienced such racism and discrimination in my entire life. Places like these shouldn't exist. I will never return to this business nor this town.

If I could rate zero stars I certainly would. My family and I were traveling from Asheville back to Charlotte and decided to make a stop for lunch. We are Asian American and my boyfriend is African- American. As we walked in there were 2 Caucasian gentlemen that walked in behind us and were immediately greeted and seated. We stood there without any acknowledgement for about 20 minutes until my sister walked over to the bar area and asked if we were to seat ourselves. The bartender stated someone will assist us shortly. We then sat back down in waiting area as 3 waitress walked by. The hostess finally walked over to us and asked if we've been helped. We responded "no not yet", she then looks at her board and asks if we were okay with an additional 15- 20 minute wait. I want to advise that there were probably about 3- 4 tables occupied in the restaurant. There was no way there was an actual wait. Furthermore it was clear that we were not welcomed. I would never visit this city nor return to this establishment!

This place is on its way out. Never have been more disappointed. And apparently mask are not needed to enter. 80% of the folks that were waiting and most that came in were without mask. Only when I approached the fellow taking names to be seated did he ask them to wear mask and then provided them.Rolls were the best part of the evening. Most definitely will not ever stop here again, and I have been here many times. If you want to lose your meal, the men's room had not been cleaned this month.

I'm sure they are struggling with the C19 issues... but the chef was amazing ... the Baby Back ribs best I've had since SMOKEY JOES' in Arkansas! and my husband is very very hard to please with steak ... he said his was PERFECT! new, young waiter... trying so hard to get it right ... he passed with flying colors ... and the APPLE COBBLER for desert was made FRESH right then... the apples did NOT come out of a can!!! crispy/doughy cobbler crust and a humongous scoop of vanilla icecream ... way more than the two of use could finish. decent wine list too! and within walking distance from our motel!

More accurately this should be about a 2.25 or 2.5 rating, but was closer to a 2 than a 3. Sagebrush showed up in a web search and had generally good reviews, and the menu looked very nice, so we decided to give it a try. It was a Bad decision. The parking lot was in bad shape, which should have tipped us off. Well past the opportunity for resealing the blacktop, the lot is badly in need of repaving. We were seated in what appeared to be a well laid-out socially distant dining area with only booths being used and only every other one available for use. Our server Ethan was friendly and took our order, I ordered the Ribeye (12 oz), medium rare with a salad and a baked potato, my wife ordered the Marshall Dillan Ribeye (a marinated 12 oz ribeye) medium rare with a salad and Sagebrush Potatoes. The salads were good, nothing noteworthy except maybe a bit more red cabbage than I typically like in a salad. The entrees came out and my steak was large, but painfully thin for a ribeye, probably no more than 3/8” thick. When I cut into it, it had no rareness AT ALL and the flavor had a “charcoal” flavor that didn’t taste just right, which could be because of the doneness – it’s been a long time since I purposefully ate a well done steak. The baked potato was not fully cooked, so I basically cubed it up and buttered it before eating. My wife’s, smaller, but thicker steak was cooked to about medium, so hers was considerably more to order. She enjoyed the potatoes which had peppers and onions in them. For a $20 steak, I was incredibly disappointed, but being in an unfamiliar town at a restaurant we’d never dined before, I did not send my order back to be redone. I don’t know if the 15 oz cut would have been cooked more properly or just been another 3 oz and $3 more misery. I’ll chalk it up to a bad day, but won’t bother checking out this location or any of their other 8 locations again.

We looked at the menu online and were hopeful this would be an enjoyable meal as pricing was similar to Outback or Longhorn. The reality was disappointing. I ordered a 12oz Ribeye, Medium Rare and got a 3/8" piece of meat that had almost no "rareness". The baked potato was a bit under-cooked (go figure). The salad was okay, a bit too much red cabbage for my liking. Service was adequate.

Our waitress kayla was very nice and attentive. Good drink specials. Food was good and arrived quickly. No waiting for a table. I like the location because it's easy to get in and out without fighting traffic
