What an awesome team of staff members my group of 16 encountered at this location for dinner on 4-25-25, This team was led by Terri the manager supported by Haven our server. Terri helped me put this birthday event together days in advance and though they don’t take reservations she supported making the entire dinner event happen very very seamlessly. The owner and management need to commend the team working last night from 5:30pm when we arrived until we left at 7:30. Our dinners were awesome and I would highly recommend everyone give a shot at least once because you will be back!!! Thanks again Terri and Haven you ladies rock!!! — eating dinner at Brunches at Carolina Beach.

Went for a bday brunch with some girlfriends and the sweet staff made sure to make my day extra special! Our waitress, Haven was ahhhmazing!!! Food was awesome and drinks were great! The superb service, however, is what really stands out to me! Great job guys!!!! I can't wait to come back!

Came here for crab cakes , but were no longer on the happy hour menu , that didn’t matter I still got them and they were good! Thin like sausage patties where normally they are like burgers at other places. Lauryn was awesome ! She was kind and on top of everything ! We will be back !

I had an amazing breakfast here. We had Haven as our server. She is phenomenal! Even if the food was bad - it was amazing - I would come back for her service. They have a wide variety for the picky eaters like my son! I cannot wait to go back again.

We arrived and were quickly seated. No server came to greet us for a long period of time and the hostess came back and told us the server was too busy to come and offered to get us drinks. The waitress did arrive before she brought the drinks and asked again what drinks we would like. We stated again our order and was told that the tea making machine was broken. She brought us drinks in small plastic cups and not the same cups everyone else was served. The waitress then asked to take our order. It was Saturday which was their day for the crab leg special which we asked for. She checked in the kitchen and came back and said they were out of crab legs. We then asked to order the meatloaf. She went to put in the order and came back again and said there was no meatloaf. The menu is limited with not a lot of choices. They did prepare our third choice. It was brought out and the waitress said I hope you ladies enjoy it. My husband was clearly not a lady. The coleslaw was warm. It contained lots of pepper. I would not recommend. The waitress disappeared for a long period of time in which we gave up and asked someone else to get us a refill on our drinks. The restaurant was very cold. The most attentive worker was the one picking up peoples plates as he felt they were finished eating. This restaurant visit was a big disappointment.

Cute place for lunch, brunch & anywhere in between!
Do not pass up the Powerhouse bowl. Best thing I ate all weekend! I got it over sweet potatoes and the traditional mimosa. My husband got the crab cake Benedict... Also very good. It's very popular, but the wait was only about 30 mins at 11am on a Saturday!

Highly recommend! Went on Sat. morning. Was very busy but didn't take long for a table. Our waitress was excellant. Kept our drinks filled. The food was amazing! I got the biscuit with fried chicken and sausage gravy. Hubby got blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon and home fries. We will be back!

Delicious meal!!! Mahi was perfectly cooked and the rice was so complimentary to the fish. Fried captains platter was nearly enough for 2 people. The batter was perfect and the food was fried to perfection! Don’t forget the cocktails…hubby had a Pecan Pie Manhattan that was delish (and he’s really picky about bourbon cocktails).

Hostess was rude. She walked off without saying a word. Someone else walked up and she seemed as confused as we were. Our server was phenomenal! The server was the only good thing I can say really. The tea is mediocre at best. The blackened mahi was the whitest I have ever seen. Very little spice on it much less was it blackened. The worse ... no... the ABSOLUTE worst gluten free bun. It fell apart one bite in and tasted awful. The sauce was creamy lemon and not as described on the menu. The sandwich should have come with lettuce, tomato and onion. Onion could have added flavor if it had been on the sandwich but no, just a tart tomato and lettuce that had no crisp. Coleslaw... you need to be prepared for a lot of garlic. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It was different...very different. I liked it ok but couldnt eat much of it as the garlic is over powering and lots of celery seeds which I don't care for. Our visit was during their food happy hour and shift change. Maybe that is an excuse for lousy food but I will not go back during brunch or dinner to find out. This place literally left a bad taste...and I left 90 percent of the food on the plate. Server was knowledgeable about gluten but the restaurant does not have a gluten free menu...just a gf bun. My sister had the same sandwich but with the regular bun. She felt so embarrassed about how little she ate she used her fork to maneuver the food to look like she ate some. When we left she said we would eat dinner somewhere we know to be great. I jokingly told her McDonald's (she really dislikes McDonald's)is near!
