This Carolina Beach outpost can't hold a candle to the original downtown location. It was pretty decent the first time we tried it, but both the food and service have deteriorated as the summer crowds have grown. The problem seems to be staffing, which affects a lot of businesses these days, especially ones that rely on tourists.

Great burger also chicken and waffles. Also homemade Mac and cheese. Nice portion and very tasty. Beer is cold and staff is friendly.

Who doesn't like a great burger and freshly cut fries. These burgers are hard to forget. The flavor was good but what I will remember the most is the size of the burger. It took me a few bites to realize I needed to cut it in half. Ask for plenty of napkins. The fries were out of this world. Love the location being so close to the boardwalk. Go out and get you a massive burger and amazing fries. You won't regret it.

Got to go order of two sandwiches. Service was bad, they said it would be 1.5 to 2 hours. When we asked around 1.5 hours they said it might be one other hour and were not helpful at all. When the food finally came out, everything was cold and soggy. Like they made it two hours ago and it sat there. The restaurant was not even busy. Ridiculous. They only get business because they are across the street from the carnival.

The waitress was so so nice! My family was here visiting from Maine, and the staff was not only so helpful, but they seemed like they really cared and wanted to get to know us. On top of wonderful service and food was wonderful! Every time we tried something, we all agreed it was the best we’ve ever had. Thank you so much!

Our server was great even though the place was understaffed. The menu looked great but the food was not . All of our burgers were overcooked. We all asked for medium. The fries were greasy. I asked the locals for some recommendations. They recommended Hang ten. 10x Better food and service at hang 10.

Food was very good but unfortunately we had to wait nearly 2 hours to receive our entrees! I do not blame the wait staff at all, they were great! Our server was extremely apologetic and seemed embarrassed by the long wait. But it is unacceptable that it took so long to cook basic burgers with a half full restaurant. Multiple tables near us up and left because of the wait while we were there! They were nice enough to give us a discount on our bill but the whole situation was uncomfortable and frustrating.

Kitchen is soooo slow it takes away from everything else. Windows so dirty can't hardly see the beautiful location outside.. over a half hour wait for a club sandwich and salad.

Was greeted by being told any food orders had to wait 30m before being put in. We felt like it was a ploy to get us to order their overpriced drinks.Food was ok. Burger lacked any flavor in the patty and the bacon was half cooked. Was consistent across our 2 burgers.Brother ordered a deep fried turkey sandwich. Was a very lacking sandwich (1 slice of turkey, cheese, and lettuce) served with an overpowering raspberry sauce.All entrees came with a mountain of fries. They were good. Hand cut and pretty tasty.Brussel sprouts were ok. Served in duck fat and really not seasoned past that.Was told a place called Felix's was a better call by some locals. May try that next visit.

Very long wait time, expensive and not worth the wait or price.Thanks for your response.Problem was lack of kitchen staff! Wait staff did all they could to keep us happy and informed. By the time we did get our food, one sandwich was given to the wrong person and the other dropped and delayed even longer. The one that was dropped was removed from the bill, but since the bill was split, it was removed from the wrong one.

We were there for over an hour and a half. No food for over an hour. The only excitement was getting a full glass of wine and a glass of water spilled all over me. And it was not busy!My drink was way too strong. The food was good, but no better than any burger place.After the spill, they gave me a bill, no discount, no comp for sitting there for over an hour in wet, smelly clothes.Don’t bother with this place! Failures on way too many levels!And they did not comp my bill at all. Nor my relative”s. She paid cash and they tried to keep the change. It was only returned when she requested it.I have contacted the owner as per his response to this review. I have received no response after 5 days. His response was lip service.

This was a very nice place to eat. For an appetizer we had the “Texas Poutine”, then I had the Monte Cristo and my wife had the Schwiss burger. The food was pretty good overall, but heavy (we were vacation splurging as we’re accustomed to eating a primarily plant based diet). My wife had sweet tea that was not overly sweetened. Very tasty. The staff were nice and welcoming, and our server, Casey, was very pleasant with just the right amount of attentiveness. Would dine hear again as they have many entrees that sound amazing.

Food was great! We went right at 12 when the restaurant opened. Only downside was the restaurant definitely needed a good cleaning. The high chair they gave us for our son was nasty still had food on it we wiped it down and the wipe we used turned dark brown. Floors and tables had not been cleaned either. But with all that being said the food really was great!
