Came in to catch the game and enjoy a beer. Small place with a great environment! Ayesha (SP?) was the bartender and she was amazing. Greeted with a lovely smile right away and mentioned current offers. I was simple and just wanted their hot dog plate with a couple of drafts. For bar food the fries were excellent and seasoned well. Nathan's hot dogs are always good. Can't say enough great things here. Noticed they had a good selection of beers in the cooler for anyone's taste. Stop in and have a great time! I know I did.

Walked in as a party of 4, and was told the upstairs area was closed (no reasoning why). The bartender said we could eat downstairs, but that he was “busy and had a lot going on” so we lust left. Atmosphere was quite standoffish.

Mixed feelings. The view from upper deck was great. We went last Friday, ordered 2 Dark and Stormy's from a really nice lady bartender. They were delicious. We liked them so much we went back on Saturday. The male bartender made a completely different drink, and actually added sours to a Dark and Stormy! When we questioned him, he totally threw Friday's bartender under the bus. Said she was new, didn't know what she was doing. He was stressed out and rude. Lady bartender knew how to make a Dark and Stormy, she was polite and helpful in recommending the balcony for the view. We'll go back, for the view, and insist on a properly made drink.

Im going to disagree with recent reviewers and say this is the worst place I have eaten in CB. Our server was inconsistent with drinks and it was over 100.00 for a family of 4 and portions were low for the price. 20% gratuity is automatically included which is fine for good service, but it was not up to par. I personally had the chicken on my loaded nachos and it was absolutely terrible. The table beside of us finished their food and went straight to the pizza place across the parking for better more affordable food. We just came in and cooked dinner instead. . . I cant speak for taste on anything other than chicken topped nachos but the chicken was heavily shredded with what taste like queso chip dip on top. Chicken was slightly seasoned but taste like a taco seasoning package and very cold. Im wondering if that was because it took about 45 mins to get food. Ill be skipping it next time.

We had fried mushrooms, tacos, and fried grouper, which were all good, just not great. For instance, the fish was a bit too salty, and the coleslaw served with both was very basic (cabbage, sauce).
Our waitress/bartender/cashier (like a one woman show) was on the ball and hustling, so if I were just rating her, she'd get 5stars+... However, since she was spread so thin, we had to wait a bit for anything we needed, etc.

Always a wait with live music, as expected. Service is slow but they are nice. Food is nothing special, but what makes this place is the view and the atmosphere. If you can deal with the rest, you won't mind it.

Went there for dinner food was subbar service was horrible waitress was rude apparently, if you're not 20 something flirting with them, you don't matter will never go there again and probably won't return to Carolinia beach again because of this place!
No complaints here! We ordered drinks and food and everything was on point. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich (which is house brined in pickle juice I believe) and a side house salad and both were AWESOME! My bf ordered their wings and he loved them. They had live music and the artist was so incredibly talented. The server was helpful and friendly and the view here with the beach breeze is amazing. Will definitely be back!

We totally enjoyed our meals which consisted of Lime, Shrimp and Avocado wrap, Smash burger and Basket Shrimp (this was huge). Service was a tad slow. But our Waiter was very friendly and checked in frequently. I'd suggest you make a reservation! I'd go back if I return to Carolina Beach

Food was good. We had loaded nachos, Caesar salad, buffalo chicken wrap and smash burger. We also prefers lemon wings but they were just okay. I’d skip them.
Ambiance was good - typical beach boardwalk with live music. Two floors of service and an outdoor area for hot dogs and drinks.
