This was our first time eating at Kate’s. We’ve walked by here several times but never had the chance to stop. So glad we did.
The fall special, apple cinnamon pancakes were delicious
Kate’s is a cozy little beach restaurant serving typical breakfast meals. I had the pancakes eggs and bacon meal and my wife had the French toast breakfast. The breakfast was good as was the service. My only complaint is that the ice tea was dry weak and had very little flavor it was like drinking water.
When you visit Carolina Beach, Kate's is a must STOP. The menu choices are many. The flavors are robust and plentiful. The omelets have more ingredients than eggs. Yay! They do not skimp. Their home fries are very old-fashioned, which make them great. The service was superb. Great job, Brittany. On time and no long waits. Everything is clean and ready for guests. Awesome experience. We will be back.
