The best part about Lazy Pirate is the setting to be honest. It's a very cool looking restaurant and comfortable. I thought the food was mediocre. My burger was well cooked but under seasoned, bacon was minimal and very soggy not crisp. 18$ burger with wedges. Lobster Mac and Cheese for 30$ good bit of lobster in there and the Mac tasted handmade however it was a bit too sweet for my liking and unless you really are just dying for lobster I would pass. Maybe being a bit drunk it would be delicious though and would take the sting out of the price.

In summary the menu is limited, doesn't feel like a good value, food is Ok, Service was mostly good, best thing is atmosphere. 6/10. Mostly hype.

Ordered Grouper Nuggets, Mac N Cheese bits and the Fish Tacos. Yumm! All was good especially the Tacos. We visited on a Thursday late afternoon in October. Business was slow but I could imagine a Saturday around 10 O'clock it would be ROCKIN.

Recommend a visit.

Food was good. We sat at the outside bar. We were greeted promptly but then ignored for an extended period of time before our drink orders were taken. Bar staff seemed more interested in having conversations with each other than actually serving customers. Live music was great. Probably won't visit here much when I am at Carolina Beach.

We rode our motorcycles in from VA. We ate the ghost pepper burger, which I would highly recommend. It's not very spicy but has an amazing smoked flavor. The atmosphere is very beachfront. Employees are friendly. The music was just a little too loud for me.

Parking: There are not too many spots to park unless you're ok with a little walk.
