Majik Beanz Espresso

Haven’t been able to stop by here in a long time - probably two years at least. Nothing has changed in the best way possible. Phenomenal coffee, warm and welcoming staff, comfy place to hang out, and there is cool art work, jewelry, and other items for sale. The owner is behind the counter regularly. She is kind, and funny, and she makes the best coffee I’ve had in NC. Highly recommend!

I have lived in Wilmington for 4 years, 2 of those years have been on Carolina beach, and yet I had never been to this coffee shop. I’ve driven by many times but I don’t drink coffee so I never really had a reason. The other day someone was asking where they could get a good cinnamon roll on CB. Someone’s reply was majik beanz. Now while I don’t do coffee this girl does do pastries! So I had to check it out. I stopped in yesterday and although they didn’t have any cinnamon rolls they did have a giant cheese danish and many other delicious looking treats to choose from. I ordered the danish and they had a jar of Halloween cookies $1 each so I got one of those too. The danish was soft and flavorful. I didn’t go to eat my cookie until today and gasped with glee when I saw she had snuck an extra cookie in the bag. I ate one and it was very good. Not overly sweet which is a problem with some cutout cookies. This had a nice balance. I’m trying to use my self control and not eat the second one until later today but we shall see. I will definitely be back in for more pastries. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming.

Great spot to get a well made, actual cappuccino and use their fast WiFi. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Thanks so much!

Just moved to Wilmington this summer and the coffee here is amazing. Most things I drive to are away from CB but I’ll make a stop going over Snow’s Cut for this any day! Carrot cake and Irish Cream Espresso are ?

I am visiting for just a couple of days and needed a place to get some work done- and luckily I didn’t have to leave my dog at the hotel!! Had a fabulous experience, amazing coffee, treats, and smoothies. Everyone was very kind and it was fun to just be there and absorb the positive atmosphere. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Attention parents— they have a kid’s corner for your kiddos to play in. This saved us one rainy beach morning. Imagine if you will, a restless toddler, a tired mom, a dedicated play space full of toys, and a delicious cup of coffee. Loved this joint.

Cool atmosphere, lots of interesting knick-knacks, Nintendo in the back was super cool to play for a minute. For sale there are quirky cards and some handmade stuffed animals that are really well made. Person who rang us up had a weird attitude. The espresso I got from malalmama yesterday (spelling?) tasted better, and person at the register was way friendlier- and got my order right the first time which was cool.

If the person up front didn't treat me like it was my fault the drink was wrong, all would've been fine.
