I have gotten Poke bowls and smoothie bowls from here with are good but it’s been a couple years since coming here and the last time I came I got the Malama smash and it was terrible, don’t recommend getting this at all. No flavor and they cut a hard boiled egg and just stick it on there like that’s edible that way instead of slicing it. Kinda seems like it’s something thrown together without taste testing it. On top of that it cost $8.50 for one piece of toast, I got gluten free which ups it I think a dollar but that’s expensive regardless for one piece of toast. At least give customers two pieces for the cost. The coffee was good but not hot at all, I'm pretty sensitive and don’t like anything too hot but even I had to microwave it when I got home. Other food I’ve had has been great but don’t get the malama toast.

This place is so cute! The staff were welcoming and gave me good recommendations, and the strawberry mint matcha was AMAZING. The Buddha bowl was good, but really filling. Overall great place!

Came to Carolina Beach for a long weekend and had to stop here 3 different times for breakfast/coffee. I don’t think there’s a bad thing on the menu! And all of the staff are so friendly!

Malama is our favorite coffee shop in Carolina Beach! We've visited several times over the last couple of years. Great tasting coffee. Not the burnt stuff you get other places. Breakfast options are great. Very filling burrito. Great place to grab coffee and then take a short walk to the boardwalk and beach.

Cute cafe in the heart of Carolina Beach. Visited twice during my brief stay. First visit was so good I had to go again. Iced dirty chai was spot on. Not too sweet. Breakfast burrito minus the chicken was the bomb. Simple ingredients but so much flavor! Also tried the toast with almond butter, banana, thin almond slices, and drizzled with honey. So good!Cute space with super staff. Looking forward to visiting again when I'm back in the area.

The entire staff bring a joyous vibe to the atmosphere. I’ve started making this a routine stop on my way off the island after work. The vanilla rosemary latte on the winter menu (cold or iced) is ? delicious. I’ve also had a wrap from the specials board. Also, very tasty. Always clean and bright in here too!

Best iced latte I've had in a long time. My friend had a hot coffee and said it was really good. Love the relaxed vibe of the place.

After an especially long car ride, my friends & i stopped for a quick brunch.. sooo worth the stop! everything was below 15 bucks, the sourdough bread tasted like it was served right out of the oven, the berries were sweet, the matcha was savory, and the smoothies were the perfect consistency. on top of that the workers (Kaile & Sanna) imediately struck ip conversations with us like we've been friends for years.
