My girlfriend and I showed up craving calzones, and they didn't disappoint! Service was prompt and very friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic! Do yourself a favor and get in Michaelangelos!

Everything was good except their cauliflower pizza is pretty expensive for the size you get. Not much larger than my hand (and I have tiny hands) and not filling. A one man pizza, I guess you could say.

Visiting from out of town. Website says open until 9:30. Drive there and pay for parking. Get to the door - closed! Nothing going on! No sign as to why. Well-done Michaelangelo's!

What's going on with Michaelangelos pizza?

We called one day and some young girl said they don't do dine in after 4 pm. Drove by to another restaurant and people were dining there at 630 same day.

We called another day for take out pizza, and we're told they close at 8 but we should have our order in by 7. That's fine, we called our order in before 7 and we're told 715 pick up time. We arrived right at 715 to pick up and got home at 719 to eat. The pizza was room temperature. It wasn't fresh like it was just baked. Also it was horribly made, crust inconsistent, marinara only on half the pie. Worst pizza I ever had there by far. I was disappointed with that dinner.

Today we went for a redemption pizza before they close for the next 2 days. Called and said they would be open until 8. Got there at 705 and they locked the door infront of us as we were walking up to the door and said we just closed, if you want pizza I recommend going to uncle Vinnys down the road. The young kid didn't seem a bit phased that he just closed infront of our face 55 minutes early when they just told us they would be open until 8.

3 strikes in 1 week, wow! I used to be a fan but I'm flabbergasted at our experiences with them this week. I'm done with them. After they closed the door in our face we drove to mellow mushroom in wilmington that was very good and actually cares for their customers.

Is the owner aware the place is being ran like this?? I know she's on here.

What once was nice, should now just be a memory. Used to be my favorite pizza, but it's gone way downhill. They told us they don't do dine in seating after 4 pm one day, next day they did it all day. Said they would be open until 8, closed at 7. Called again on the weekend and said would be open until 8, got there at 705 and they locked the door as we were walking up and said we just closed. Could care less that we just called and asked and said we were on the way.

Got a take out pizza for lunch and it was the worst pizza I ever had from them. Very inconsistently made and only half the pizza had Marinara sauce.

3 strikes your out. All in one week.

You can tell the owner doesn't care a bit about running a good business anymore.

Last minute decision to order pizza, Michaelangelo's delivered our pizza quickly and direct to our room! Pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious!! The young lady that took our order was very friendly and the young man who delivered the pizza was very nice!!

Tried going in tonight at 9:00 to grab a quick slice of pizza to go and when I went in they told me they were closed… super annoying being it’s 30 min before close and it’s a Friday night.

I ordered a pizza almost 2 hours ago and it didn’t get delivered, I had called 10 times and got 0 reply. I had to go to the store and when asked about my pizza they said maybe the driver got pulled over. Then they called him and he said he was on the way and he’d come to store and I waited another 15 minutes. I didn’t get my pizza until 10:15 and ordered 8:23.

Online ordering only worked for the store in Wilmington and then the Carolina Beach location never answered the phone, called a bunch of times and nothing. No way would I recommend this place especially if you want take out!
