Service great, food just OK. The restaurant is small, and the bartender covers the table service as well. Everything was hot and served together. I had the teryaki chicken with pineapple, and while the chicken breast was cooked well, it really would have benefited from a marinade or dry spice rub, as it was cooked, rather than the pineapple slice and sauce just put on top... Zero depth of flavor. My wife had salmon and. said the flavor was good. While I wouldn't seek out Olde Salty as a destination restaurant, I would eat here again in a pinch.

Do not waste your time or money here. They truly live up to their name, Olde Salty, because everything was overwhelmingly salty, so much so that you couldn’t even taste the actual food. Both the fish and shrimp were unbearably salty, and the corn on the cob was completely flavorless, as if it had just been boiled with no butter or seasoning.
On top of that, the customer service was rude and very slow. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Honestly, even my dog wouldn’t eat the leftovers.

Seriously...The best place on the whole boardwalk. Locally owned and operated. The best vibe, wonderful for kids! The fried catfish is so good. We stop here everytime we come to town, for the welcoming service and the delicious food. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

This is the worst place you will ever go!!! Stood at the bar for two hours and was only asked what I pwanted to drink one time. Also was never served food. They do nothing for their customers and have terrible attitudes. The bartender couldn’t even figure out how to open a can of beer. She was disrespectful to everyone I was with.
Best and biggest crab legs we had at Carolina Beach. I'm just sorry we didn't find this place until our last night here. The service was just as good.

Very cute spot! We've been in Carolina Beach for years and never tried it. All the locals say it's good. We decided to try it today. My kids ordered Virgin Miami vices which I thought would be annoying to the bartender. She was super nice and said she didn't mind at all. They were delicious. All the food we ordered was perfect. The Mahi bites were really good! I had the grilled chicken buffalo salad and it was awesome. Kids eat every bit of their tenders and cheeseburger and my husband loved his oyster po boy. We'll definitely be back. Cute, beachy decor inside and awesome service!
