This is a small bar with lots of cool things to looks at on the walls. We received attentive and friendly service and fresh food! We dined on a Sunday late afternoon and the bar was almost full with locals watching the game.
the $1.50 Oysters were a stand out and we also really enjoyed their clam chowder. The three of us shared 36 Fresh Oysters easy. We enjoyed it with simple lemon and cocktail sauce and a little Tapatio. The Chowder was on the less salty side (which I think is just right) and perfect clam to chowder ratio.
Definitely will be raving about this place and looking forward to coming back soon

This joint was everything I wanted it to be from my internet searches. Walked into a packed house on a Monday in December, and was told the wait was 45 minutes. I ordered a pint, and 15 minutes later two spots opened up at the bar.
My wife got the shrimp cocktail and I had a dozen raw to start, and both were awesome. Fresh local shrimp for her, and amazingly fresh salty oysters went down smooth.
Dinner was 1/2 lb. Of steamed shrimp and corn for her, and the shrimp were perfect. I got the hermit fried cod sandwich with fries, and it may have been the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. Fries were also crispy and perfect.
As far as the staff, it seemed like there were only two bartenders and two cooks running the show. Our drinks were never empty, and once we ordered, the food came out hot and on time.
This was our first visit to Skuckin’ Shack, and the first night of our trip, and the bar has already been set very high.

Went there with some friends. Placed our order and waited... Server told us the deep fryer had lost power and they were trying to fry stuff in a pan. I wish I had just cancelled the order at that point. The food was horrible.
I ate because I was hungry and didn't want to go wait someplace else. They were kind to offer a small discount - which was appreciated - but chances are I will not be returning.

With inside seating capacity of about 40-50, when we arrived they were less than half full. The bartender provided great service, but there was some kind of an issue with our orders delivery to the kitchen and had to be sent in again, so food took a long time. When it arrived, the drawn butter was not clear and cold... the bartender remedied this right away, but convinced us the kitchen seemed to be having a problem. Regardless, the shrimp were fresh and hot.

My raw oysters were delicious! And my husband enjoyed his fish & chips. The service was friendly & the drinks were cold. The only thing that would have made it better would be a view of the water. But free parking this time of year was a plus.
