Beautiful Resort - Oceanfront Room - Clean - Spacious! We were here for a 3-day work conference! Meeting rooms were cool (which is a good thing) speakers / all visual aids were up to date / and the catered food by the hotel ....Ahhh mazing!! Ample amount of parking however , the hotel will give you a parking pass 1 per room. Location - In the heart of Carolina Beach. Within walking distance of restaurants/ boardwalk/ ice cream ....you name it!!!

The location is centered right next to the boardwalk ..So close in fact that you can hit the Ferris wheel with a rock. The noise from the boardwalk at night is loud until approximately 10p. Then it shuts down and you can hear the people still in the beach walking along with flashlights in hand. Nothnng bad... and mildly entertaining. The rooms are clean and nice enough .. 7 outta 10 in that area. The only real issue was the air conditioner. The second night it was loud... stupidly loud.Luckily my wife and I had noise canceling headphones and we finished off the last night, but it was an expletive of an experience hearing it.Make sure your rooms ac is in working order.

We won't be staying here again. Room was not cleaned good at all. Had to clean the outdoor patio furniture myself it had honey mustard and dirt all over it. The windows and glass door as well. Housekeeping brought me some window cleaner for me to finish it on my own. The sliding glass door has fog in between the glass panels so you can't see out very well. The patio furniture is old and small, someone weighing 150 or more cannot fit in the chairs. The tv has maybe 12 channels which 5 of ours are fuzzy. Should have brought our Roku. No clock, should have brought our Alexa with clock. No hair dryer, called for one and it was brought up. Bed sinks on both sides like you're laying in a ditch, they need to replace these mattresses so bad! I found myself sticking a couch pillow under my side at 11pm after tossing for 1.5 hours. Dust covered on the ceiling above the bed. Everything metal in the room like the lamp bases and table bases are rusted from the salty air. Couch is very dingy and dirty, we won't sit on it. Other than that pretty views and nice staff but we will try next door at the Hampton Inn next time for sure! Also, another review says free parking... that is no longer true it's $9.

Staff is unfriendly and rude. Elevators get stuck on a regular basis. The only good about this establishment is it's location and the pool.

The Courtyard by Marriott at Carolina Beach is in a great location and offers free parking. The hotel is right on the beach. Service was amazing here too. I arrived early as it had started to rain. My room was not ready yet which was fine but I was given a key card for access to the Boardwalk and given a parking pass. All the rooms here have balconies and oceanfront views. I used one of my upgrades and was given a suite. I was disappointed in the condition of the room though. Some of the furniture was beat up and run down. The tub had stains and rust. Then the hotel included a tv lineup but the tvs both stopped at channel 41 and the other stations were missing. Then the stations I did have did not come in that great. Both wifi and the cable were knocked out during the storm overnight as I tried to use both as I couldn't sleep with the storm. But both were back on in the morning so that problem was fixed quickly.I'd stay here again in a regular room if the price is right.

Back in the day, Courtyard had the best buffet breakfast around. I have never enjoyed eating at their bistros. Just not real food, in my opinion. Churched up food for the in-crowd.

So I had a business meeting in Wilmington, but wanted to use points at Marriott and chose this hotel. I actually love this place. It was a little cold when we arrived in late February. They had a large group of women here for a convention for scrapbooking, so it was quite the rowdy crowd. Lol, just kidding. I cannot say enough great things about the front desk, staff, especially Felicia, who made us feel so welcomed. Parker was great as well. They have awesome views from every room. We were in 811. I love the fact that they have a refrigerator. I also noticed a microwave and the ice machine area.

We checked in on January 26,2023, The check in was flawless. We received the most warming and welcoming service. They included a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling wine!! The room 701 was EPIC AND AMAZING!! We had one hiccup with the key card which they fixed it on the spot. Including free breakfast! We have used this WONDERFUL HOTEL; for every Wedding Anniversary for three years!! We have nothing but Amazing visits and Experiences with them!! The room was so beautiful!! Views from four different angles!! Ocean Front!! We are also complementing Bridgette who made sure we had fresh clean towels and anything we needed!! Also the two wonderful ladies that were very helpful on the weekend as well! A Hundred Stars and more is what we rate them!

This hotel for where it is located is terrible!! I can't emphasize enough how much I dislike this place. I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties. They have great properties and hole in the walls...this property inparticularly this room is a hole in the wall. We have a king bed with ocean view, and the room smells like a chain smoker lived here for years. We just left from the Marriott at Barony Beach resort, and I am shocked that the same company owns both properties. I have only given it 2 stars because I can at least see and hear the ocean but just barely because the pool is so loud... we are on the second floor. Additionally, we are right next to a board walk carnival of some type, which luckily is closed due to the off-season. Listen, if you just want a quick place to lay your head and catch a view of the ocean this may be the place (although I'm sure you would find the same experience in the back of your car), but I wouldn't stay longer than a night. Unfortunately, I have to suffer through another night at this crappy place. Never again... next time, I will forgo the ocean view for a decent place to stay. Do yourself a favor and stay away until they renovate these rooms!!!

Excellent First Stay,The hotel is very nice, clean, and the location was great. The staff was excellent, Heather at the front desk was very helpful as was Benjamin. Victor was always friendly and cheerful. The staff was excellent, a few stand outs were; Heather at the front desk was very helpful and was always friendly, Victor was always cheerful. Bernadette B. called me honey and sweetheart more times than I deserve and was eager to help as well. The property is definitely on my list to return to.

Hosted a conference here right after the hurricane. For lunch this is probably the best hotel food we've ever experienced. The batista in the morning are so accommodating. The rooms appear to have been updated recently. A great experience with MacKenzie with rooming lists, etc.

Quick and easy options without fighting the lines. Coffee hits the spot. Food is nice and light. The few entrees forn breakfast are just enough to get your day started. The staff were all so nice and welcoming, which is big part of why i came 4 out of 5 days.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The employees at the front desk, Benjamin and Leslie, were very professional, very friendly and very accommodating. We arrived early and while waiting for our room to be ready they made sure we were allowed access to all the amenities while we waited. They quickly had our room ready for us and during our stay. Any requests we made were handled immediately. The only negative we experienced was that there weren't any umbrellas in the pool area. It was extremely hot during our stay and we were unable to remain in the pool area without shade. I feel that you should put umbrellas there. One other comment....we had previously stayed at the Hampton Inn, next to the Marriott. They offered a free breakfast every day, which was great. I feel that Marriott should do this also. We do recommend this Marriott, despite my 2 suggestions. We will most likely return.
