Awesome spot. Not like any other place on the boardwalk. Downstairs has outside and inside bar, middle floor is a retro themed space with comfortable seating, and the rooftop has lots of space and amazing views. Servers and bartenders are friendly and quick to serve you. Food was amazing. I ordered a smorgasbord of different foods, and they were all delicious. I do not regularly go to the boardwalk, but this is a unique establishment that I will come back to again and again.

My daughter and I tried The Tropical tonight for dinner. It was delicious! We tried three different egg rolls and my daughter got the fried chicken & mashed potatoes kids meal. Everything we tried was amazing. The staff and owner were so friendly. It was a rainy evening so the rooftop was not open, so we ended up sitting on the middle level. It has an amazing cozy vibe. Definitely going back on a weekend to enjoy a cocktail and some more delicious food. Great addition to the CB Boardwalk.

Just tried The Tropical for the first time, definitely need to make another trip when I'm back in CB! The crispy brussels sprouts and fried pickles were awesome, and the tropical salad bowl (with shrimp and the sesame ginger dressing) was divine. So fresh and yummy. Not to mention a very talented musician to listen to all night! Also got to meet the owner on our way out who was so kind and appreciative of our business- Highly recommend!

Visiting town and so glad I stopped in here! Such a fun atmosphere, great live music, and most importantly GREAT food. We loved the fried pickles, crispy brussels sprouts, and the Korean BBQ bowl. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner on the way out who was very personable and appreciative. Will definitely be returning!! Ps go dawgs :)

Very cute and cleanly cafe!! We got the buffalo chicken egg roll and the mclovin roll, bartender was sweet and the owner was very inviting and helpful! (also love the 2/14$ pricing for the rolls, definitely worth it) Came here for lunch but we would definitely return for a drink on the rooftop later in the day!
