The Tropical is one of the few places I go to in Carolina Beach. They have amazing food, cocktails and most importantly - they are KIND! My toddler loves coming here as well for their fun environment and various food options. I also do not eat animal eat and their vegan/vegetarian options are so helpful. They also will accept item modification if needed.

Awesome find on the boardwalk. If you want a small break from seafood, try the Southern Chicken Sammy. Tender and juicy chicken, seasoned with a not-too-soft / not-too-spicy blend, rested on a toasted bun. The batter dipped fries were a perfect side & the sandwich pairs nicely with the Kona beer. Very reasonably priced.
Bonus: Nice breeze and great view from the rooftop bar.
