Vinny's Seafood Express

Very good seafood. It’s near the beach! This land locked guy thought it was worth the time during our trip.

What can I say? If you are anywhere near Vinny's you've gotta stop by! Fresh seafood, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Great staff! Ginger was greating and taking orders and Larry was grilling & frying in the back. He was also selecting the tunes for the evening ?. I had the Crab Cakes dinner and the Shrimp Burger. Both meals had good sized servings of fresh seafood. Nice pieces of crab in the cakes and good sized shrimp on the sandwich. You should also try the Cherry Iced Tea.

My hubby and I were visiting the area and I had a hankering for seafood so I googled local spots and saw Vinny’s nearby so we gave it a try. I had the crab cake sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and was not short of crabmeat. My hubby got fish and chips that were delicious as well. We will definitely come back to indulge in some good seafood.

My husband and I decided to stop here for lunch after our flight was delayed. Best lunch decision! The staffs were friendly and welcoming. We got the shrimp burger, crab cakes and fish. The foods were really good and you get a lot of food for the price you pay.

Fabulous lunch, thank you. Been meaning to come in and will keep coming back after today. Had the crab cake sandwich and it was great. Friendly service, ice tea options (sweet, sweet cherry, unsweetened) and a little outdoor space to wait for order.

Place is clean and Covid-19 friendly. Staff are nice. Bathrooms are super clean! Nice hangout area outside! Food is good. Try shrimp burger for first-timers. Also, cherry sweet tea is tasty.

I like seafood, but my husband loves it! One of the reasons I give it a 5 is that they have outdoor seating and our dog goes where we go. The chicken sandwich I had was superb! My husband said his oysters were delish. Wait staff was great and checked on us often. Katie, our dog said she loved the chicken as well. We will go there again!?

Excellent!! My family and I had food from Vinny’s Seafood Express several times during our stay in Carolina Beach and the food is excellent. I was a little skeptical at first because fried seafood isn’t my favorite preparation but the food is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. It is tender, flavorful, and fresh. The coleslaw is crisp and delicious and the hush puppies are also a standout. My favorite item was the grilled shrimp burger. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the crisp sweetness of the bun combined with the slaw and sauce was heavenly. I am extremely picky about restaurant crab cakes, which my mom ordered, and those were loaded with crab and packed with flavor. I also had the fried clam dinner and the clam strips were tender and flavorful. Everyone in my family enjoyed what they ordered and we can’t recommend this place enough!!

On a Saturday night we walked in with a party of 10. Extremely friendly staff, excellent fresh seafood both grilled and fried. We had our food super fast. It was hot, fresh and cooked perfect. Salad was delicious, clam strips the biggest I have ever had, shrimp are huge and cooked to perfection! We basically ordered the entire menu and would recommend it all!

Y'all!! Finally tried Vinnie's Seafood Express and I'm so mad that I haven't tried it sooner!!! This place is excellent! I ordered take out and got the Shrimp Burger with a side of Slaw and just because why not,, I also got a side of Hush Puppies. Everything was hot and flavorful and the shrimp on my sandwich was huge! Sooooooo GOOD!! I will be back!

The food is great! The staff are amazing! I got the crab cakes and hushpuppies, my wife got the clam strips with fries. Please do yourself a favor and check them out. The food is fresh and seasoned very well.We will be back! Thank you for the great service!

Food and service beyond amazing. I will most definitely be returning. The food was so good and fresh I couldn't even talk.

What you see in this photo is a grilled scallop burger with a side of onion rings. Sorry for the missing bite but I couldn't resist! The seafood is fresh and delicious. The brioche bun was perfectly prepared, the coleslaw and tartar sauce were also on point. My husband got the fried shrimp platter. I wish I had taken a picture of that, too. He got hush puppies with his and they were excellent! Even though we dined in, everything was served in a disposable cardboard box. I love this as it seems to be more eco-friendly and easy to take leftovers with you. And you will have leftovers as they give you soooo much food!! The prices are reasonable, particularly since you are at the beach. They also have a selection of wines and beers in cans as well as bottled water, tea both ways, and Pepsi products . We had only a very short wait in line as well as for our food . Highly recommend!
