Great brunch, had the eggs benedict, they were wonderful. I will come back. Staff is attentive.

Food was great, especially Coquilles St. Jacques. Service was a bit slow but it did get busy. I wish the two-person tables weren't in the middle of the traffic lanes.

Excellent food. Probably one of the best eggs Benedict we’ve had. Good ingredients and great flavor. The service was questionable. I think we just wound up with the slow waiter. The other service staff seemed to be working harder. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to first stop by our table. We were actually tempted to leave, as the restaurant was not busy and had many open tables. But once our food was ordered it came out relatively fast. Finally, we had to wait a while again for our waiter to get the check and pay. Other than the slow waiter, it was a great experience.

The good: Food is really good and consistent. The patio is one of our favorite spots. (With so much good weather here, I wish more restaurants had shady, covered patios.) We order the pig, fried chicken and gumbo most times. All wonderful! I wish there were more vegetarian options, but you can order sides to make a plate. Tiny fried green tomatoes are heaven and in the summer, the BLT plate.Could be better: service is always kind of meh? They usually don’t clean plates off the table or bring a check in a timely manner. It’s not enough to keep me away though. Wouldlove more cocktail selections and for them to change seasonally. (More vodka drinks please) Also, and this is the only big one- while the mains are phenomenal, the desserts are lacking. Tried key lime pie twice and it is not good. Super bitter and that crust is not giving enough. Where’s the flaky crust desserts? Their strawberry shortcake is good in summer though.Overall, give it a try! Brunch is a favorite and LOVING their current $10 selections. It’s a regular for us for a reason.

Very welcoming, comfortable restaurant with excellent service. Had the cornbread appetiser, which was excellent. I had the tomahawk pork chop which was perfectly cooked. My wife had a wedge salad and cheesy grits and my daughter the crabcake jumbalaya. All were excellent.

We have visited twice, and enjoyed both dinners. The specific menu checks all the boxes and has some of my favorite dishes. And the flavors are on the mark. My biggest gripe is the space in the dining room, I feel like the tables are just a bit too close together and our party felt a little too "on-top" of groups near us. Our servers have been quite prompt on both visits, very efficient and knowledgeable of their menu. Certainly enough things going right here to give them a shot!

My husband and I had reservations for Valentine’s Day. My husband tested positive for Covid the day of, so I called to cancel. We were still charged a $50 fee for cancelling, even though it was a circumstance out of our control. The manager wouldn’t do anything since that’s their policy. We will never eat here again, and I would urge others not to, either. The management would rather that their customers get Covid than gracefully allow a sick customer to cancel a reservation.Oh, and we’ve eaten there before and had bad service. Never again.

Food was incredible, but pretty slow service (just seemed understaffed for a Friday night dinner seating)Kid-friendliness: Not at all

Had friends come to town, who raved about their delicious experiences at Acme during their college days. So we went to try brunch (about a month ago) and were not impressed. We were a group of four and came in when the place was basically empty. I hate to leave less than stellar reviews but there were multiple reasons why I'm doing so:1.) They had zero dairy alternatives to add to coffee.2.) After placing our orders, multiple folks were sat... ordered... and received their food before we did. I stopped counting after four tables - it was upward of 30 minutes. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and realize that it takes a bit to fry chicken but that seemed excessive.3.) The staff were unfamiliar with the menu/allergen hazards, and just sort of out of it overall.4.) The food was sub par, especially for the price. Chicken was juicy and had good flavor, but all the breading fell off of it. Burgers were good. And the gluten free (the only celiac option on the menu) breakfast bowl apparently was not good.5.) The overall vibe of the place is fine but in our section the tables were SO CLOSE TOGETHER. It was a challenge to try to figure out how to get to the bathroom and the front door. I can't imagine how the servers feel trying to navigate around customers. I felt claustrophobic af.As someone who doesn't have the budget to eat out frequently, it was just a let down.

The food here is so good! Plenty of options for all kinds of dietary restrictions and the menu feels genuinely fresh and inspired. The cocktail menu was great when we last visited as well.

There are so many good restaurants in the area that while I wanted to try this based on recommendations from the Chapel Hill Carrboro Foode FB group I kept returning to known favorites. Until today - Mondays are tough to find open places and so I said let’s finally give this a try. I soooo sorry we waited so long! Absolutely delicious! I had the blackened salmon and my husband the Mahi Mahi special and we practically licked both the plates! We will be back! So much more to try. No pics… was too busy eating :-)
