Visited for the first time in over ten years (I moved away sadly) and carrburritos is still the gem it always was. Got to introduce my teenage sons to my favorite burrito joint, and even growing up in San Francisco with the original mission style burritos… they agreed that the food and vibe are on point
This is a hole-in-the-wall taco and burrito place. You order at the counter, and it can be very busy at times, but it always works out.
Everything tastes absolutely fantastic. Don't miss the many salsa options. Servings are very generous. It's all made in-house. The woman who started the place told me many years ago that she was looking to create the kind of Mexican burrito place that is common in California, where she had moved from.
