Best Kung Pao Chicken in Chapel Hill !
Very spicy đ¶ïž
Will come back for more !
Also the Thai Iced Green tea is so good! First time I've ever had that, and will get it again !
There two dishes I've gotten here have been fantastic. The green curry was spiced perfectly and the Ba Mee Ped Krob is the best duck meal I've had for years. (I've only gotten takeout.)
I love good Thai food, which is why I wonât be returning to Cham. Everything was disappointing:
âThai dumplingsâ = cold Chinese potstickers from a bag, still cold. Yuck
Thai spice wingsâ = wings drenched in terribly salty, gloppy hoisin type of sauce. Also tasted like Chinese take out.
âKow soiâ = way too salty, gravy was thick and pasty rather that good kow soi which is like a hearty soup. Also, topped with Chinese take out crispy noodles instead of the proper rice noodles. Came with like a teaspoon of pickle and onion. Not nearly enough. Not hyperbole. I love kow soi and could not eat this.
Iâm sad I wasted money on this place.
Excellent food, great lunch prices and attentive staff. I love this place.
Good authentic Thai food in Carrboro-Chapel hills
Always stop by every time visiting in that area stuffs are nice and friendly
Ordered Basil Fried rice and came with 3 basil leaves. If the first word of the dish is Basil, shouldnât that be highlighted in the dish? Save yourself, walk across the road to Carl Mill Plaza and have your diner at the Thai Station. You wonât regret that. My wife is even more dissatisfied with her meal that I was.
Not Bay Area but lowkey pretty decent. We enjoy coming here. What makes this place really pop is the management. They screwed up an orderâhappens to all of us from time to time, right?ânot only did they make us a new one with apologies (pretty standard right?), they refunded it! Never before have I seen this, have you? I was floored.
Dietary restrictions: They take celiac disease really seriouslyâyouâll be impressed. Maybe a little too careful⊠like I thought the wide rice noodles were GF, but owner thought it might have a little wheat and suggested a substitute. Not sure sheâs right but always prefer people be overly cautious. We will be back.

Big portions of low quality food
I love the food here. The portions are huge and there are a lot of good options to choose from. I have gotten the khao moo krob, khao soi, and the Kra Prow Moo Krob all of which were really good. I would also recommend their thai green tea!

I've been here three times now. The first two times were stellar in terms of both food and service. You get a lot of food at a decent price, and it's flavorful and steaming hot. This last time the food was awesome as usual, but the service was not so great. The waitress who brought us water and the meals was very pleasant -- she was our server the first two times we visited and was just as pleasant those times too -- but this time another waitress was in charge of our table for the most part and towards the end we got the sense that she was just kind of done with us. I then knew it to be true when we were standing up to leave because she'd stopped at our table to clear dishes and I asked if she had a to-go cup that I could put my drink in. She didn't look at me or acknowledge my question in any way, shape or form before walking away. I know she heard me because she came back a minute later with a cup.
I absolutely understand that customer-service jobs are exhausting and often not easy -- I've worked in one myself! -- but my friend and I were never rude, at any point. There was nothing that warranted my question being completely ignored.
I'd give the place another chance because the food and ambience really are top-notch, but if the service were to be like this again, that might keep me from returning in the future.

A little hidden gem, kind of tucked away in the corner. I had the Tom Kha Kai and the larb, both were extremely delicious and very flavorful. Will definitely come back next time I'm in this part of town.

Decent food and decent portions. Got the pad Thai but wouldnât recommend getting the chicken in it (was dry). The flavor was pretty strong. The duck soup was ok but the duck was a bit dry too.
Overall, ok food and decent portions.
