I came from out of town and had Starbucks the day before and was looking forward to a specialty coffee experience. Ordered the drip and really it just wasn’t notable at all. Bitter Frankly it was the unfortunate situation where the Starbucks was superior to a locally roasted option. I think the difference is that it was sitting in an airpot for a while.

I did purchase some beans so hopefully will be better when I brew at home.

The sparkling blueberry lemonade was good at least

I came here to work and drink coffee and I was bombarded by dust and particulate from construction in the building. The coffee WAS tasty, until it got a ton of dust in it. My laptop had a layer of particulate covering it within the hour I was there. They need to do a better job of keeping the construction dust isolated from where people are eating and drinking, it's very much a health concern

Not sure about the coffee or treats, as they would not take cash.

If I could give zero stars I would. I saw on bringfido.com gray squirrel allows dogs. I’m visiting from out of town and we just finished a hike. The moment I walked in the barista said we couldn’t order with a dog. So no service because I have a dog? I was disappointed.

Great coffee, service and plenty of indoor and outdoor serving. It was a two coffee kind of morning! I ordered both a macchiato and a nitro brew. Both delicious! Highly recommend!

Great coffee and pastries. Good coffee shop with baristas that look and act just miserable enough to make a great cup of coffee. Looks like a local college student hangout.

Would have been helpful for the baristas to write a name on the order instead of just calling out the order. Like I mentioned earlier though, the baristas looked existentially miserable which might be what is required to make good coffee.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Their iced latte with oat milk got me through college. Creamy, nutty, smooth, and strong. The best iced latte I’ve ever had. Lost of gluten free + normal pastry options, all baked in-house. The scones and cookies have fun flavors and are always changing. Only downside is that not all of the seats have outlets nearby and the stools can get uncomfortable after an hour or so. Free parking, but sometimes the lot is very crowded. The coffee is quite expensive (+ recently raised prices bc of tariffs) but it’s so good that I stopped wanting to go anywhere else in carrboro/chapel hill, plus they’re a living wage employer so no tips.

The lady at the counter was extremely rude. She was condescending, unwelcoming, and outright disrespectful. I will never come here again. Stay away because I got completely different treatment than any other person there and I’m upset. This place is not welcome to “everybody” like they act like they are.

One of the worst and most expensive coffees. Paid $5.70 for a flat white decaf and it tasted like milk.

I asked for a dry cappuccino and was told, "We don't make them dry" by the person on the register. Seriously? Must be "the customer is always wrong" day. When I owned my coffee shop, I made all drinks to order according to my customers' preferences. A dry cappuccino is standard, unless your baristas don't know what they're doing. The coffee I received was more like a latte than a cappuccino. It was fine, but customer service is obviously not their strength. Will not be back.
