Already loved Luna Durham, this location is larger with a nice patio but still great food. Everything is fresh, portions are good, simply delicious. We had the pulled chicken and brisket grain bowls. Also the cauliflower appetizer was wonderful.

Luna has long been one of my favorite restaurants, so choosing it for our wedding welcome party was an easy decision—and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, the staff was attentive and detail-oriented, and the entire experience was seamless. Our guests had an incredible time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our wedding weekend!
This is a place where you can grab a drink or get a dessert but their food is below average, not tasty at all. Service was weird as they brought us the dessert when we were still eating our entres.

I forgot to take photos of all my food options! Pimento grits were yummy. Ecuadorian horchata was very different! Maduros are very good! Highly recommend the fish and chips! Haven’t had fried fish like that in forever! I loved all my food. My server was very nice. I didn’t notice until way after I was gone that I was over charged, so probably pay attention to that just in case. Indoor and outdoor seating was available.

Luna is both a destination dining establishment and a neighborhood gem. Every item whether fried catfish, brisket, jackfruit, cheese grits, kale ect. is well prepared and delicious. The waits are all friendly, informative and attentive. The Patio dining, also, is a real plus. You really cannot go wrong with Luna Carrboro. The picture I am posting doesn’t contain the cheese grits that he had to bring separately …. Just mentioning that so you would know the portions are more than ample. The second photo shows my companion’s cheese grits on a brisket plate.

Luna is easily one of my favorite spots to dine in the area! Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the quality of the food and drinks. Their drinks are expertly crafted, and the mimosas are amazing. The empanadas are a must-try, with a crispy, golden crust and flavorful fillings that never disappoint. I’ve also tried many of their meats which are always cooked to perfection. For sides, I HIGHLY recommend the yuca frites with the chili lime mayo.
Beyond the incredible food, the service at Luna is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit a great experience.
