I had the opportunity to meet both the owner and manager tonight and found them both charming. Every dish that was served to the other customers was so enticing that there is no doubt I will find my way back there. Everything I had was yummy but I would randomly go there just to get their fries with garlic aioli for dipping...Off the rails!

I had dinner there and it was fabulous! The French onion soup is one of the best I have ever eaten! And the profiteroles? Divine! Baptiste is a very skilled chef. The wait staff are very attentive, especially Brian who made sure were very happy with our food and the service we received. Our meal arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. The cocktails from the bar were unique and creative. I highly recommend Mosaic to anyone in the Carrboro area!

Even in a foodie town, Mosaic holds its own. Atmosphere is cozy and pleasant; staff are genuine and friendly; food is well-prepared using good, fresh ingredients. Expect simple, well-prepared, high-quality dishes rather than experimental, cutting-edge cuisine.

Really nice first time experience. Christine(server) was knowledgeable about menu and friendly. Tried 4 small plates and each was tasty. Gazpacho, fried eggplant, roasted local mushrooms and of course some frites!2 drinks and a glass of wine for a nil of $120 w tip.

We were off to a rough start and even a little disappointed that it's not traditional tapas. Our waitress Evie to the rescue. She suggested we think of it as family style. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the experience. A big thank you to Evie.

We recently went to Moasic for dinner. What a treat. Our food was excellent small plates. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were big fans of tgeir previous restaurant but are delighted with the change. The owner was busy helping to serve but took the time to stop and speak to us. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends.

I ate here with a few friends and it was okay. We ordered a few drinks, small plates, and entrees, and shared one dessert. For starters, the ambience is great. Cute, cozy, and rustic outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was a bit strange. Our waiter brought water but didn’t ask about drinks until his second time back. He also didn’t ask about ordering food. I flagged him down after a bit and ordered a few small plates for our table. He then took up the menus for everyone except me, even though everyone at the table would be ordering more food. A considerable amount of time passed with him not seeing our table, even after our apps arrived. We were hungry and ready to have entrees, so I flagged him down again to order. And, the same flagging situation with dessert. Did he assume we weren’t there to eat food? Felt odd.The food was good but not the best for the restaurant scene in this area. The fried olives weren’t the most exciting but other items were good. I really enjoyed the arancini. One of my friends had the duck and said it was good but a bit greasy flavored. I had the chicken and it was decent. The vegan cheesecake was very wonderful as well as the torte.Overall, good but not the best. Hopefully your waitstaff experience will be better. I still tipped 20% as I always do, but I would hope for someone more attentive.

What a mess. We chose this restaurant for our daughter’s graduation brunch. After freezing temperatures we so wanted to sit inside. Not allowed unless you have your vaccine card. Understood. Then were presented a menu of eggs and wheat which we have allergies to. We were not informed of this menu change prior to our reservation. We had no choice but to go somewhere else. They charged us $60 for canceling. I’m sorry for them as you really can’t make it these days when not caring about potential customers. First negative review I’ve ever written!

The food was delicious. The branzino was exceptional and the chocolate torte was a great finish to the meal. We opted for some of the garden meals as tapas as many in our party were vegan and they were also fantastic.

Met friends for dinner and it was warm enough to sit outside. Truly a lovely experience. Staff was attentive and the food & drinks were well prepared. Even the tapas portions I get were generous.

This is my second time to order takeout from Mosaic. The first time, I was really impressed. The food was delicious aside from the basil ricotta cheesecake that was too savory/also felt like the dish was trying too hard for my liking. Tonight, one ordered item was missing and several of the dishes felt smaller that expected. While I understand it is tapas style, there were only about 8 to 10 very small fried olives in the fried olive appetizer. The food still tasted delicious. I will probably go back in the future, but do not feel as enthusiastic about eating at Mosaic again soon.

Dinner was so nice. They are spacing tables very far apart. The patio has a tent and heaters despite the website saying it's unheated. Service was terrific and not rushed. Food was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Familiar flavors done differently and reasonably priced. I look forward to returning.

Excellent menu, can be found online as there may be changes. We had the tacos and salmon croquette with hand made french fries. All tested very nice, the fried made on air fryer to perfection.Customer service tops.Perhaps the most significant point for me is a sign on the door, indicating if you want to eat indoors must be vaccinated!!!To me, it is important to support civic duty and willingness to cooperate on the control of the virus.will return.
