From the early days of just the truck, Napoli has been a blessing to find in Chapel Hill. I think the best word to describe their food is "elegant". Gotta have pizza fresh out of the oven to really have it shine but it's great a day later too. Soft and delicious crust, incredible topping pairings, and amazing quality at the price they charge.

Delicious! Really good pizza. We got the brussel sprout app (yummy. Warm shaved brussel sprouts), pesto & funghi (good!), the Calabria (my fave), and the dark chocolate gelato (really good and perfect sweetness IMO). Hoping to try the apricot pizza next time. Deducted one star because the seating was cramped, uncomfortable, and this restaurant seems reservation-based (at least on Fridays/weekends). I think needing a reservation to get into a pizza place is strange and would rather them do walk in’s only. Maybe things will slow down in the future since this place is new.Parking: Free parking lot across the street (behind a building)

I had high hopes for Napoli based on the menu, but minor execution issues in the kitchen resulted in a largely uninspired meal, with the exception of the cardamon pistachio gelato which was amazing. The fried mozzarella needed a little more time in the fryer to melt the cheese all of the way through. The apricot pizza was really too sweet for my tastes due to a very generous amount of apricot glaze. If the salami had been saltier to balance the sweetness I think the pizza would have been much better. The crust was very good but could have benefited from just a little more time in the oven too. Service was very good and especially helpful accommodating our larger party. The covered patio was very nice, but the acoustics made it virtually impossible to hear what anyone else at our table was saying.

Food and service is really good! Great spot for some of the best pizza in the area. In colder months when outside area is closed in it is really loud. Maybe some sound absorbing materials may help. Otherwise highly recommend!

Had an amazing Margherita pizza and gelato. Wonderful dinner, cozy restaurant. It did get a bit noisy so if you are looking for quiet ambiance and want delicious pizza perhaps do take out.

Pizza was amazing and the ambiance was awesome. Super cute but casual, the outside seating has a roof and heating! We went on a Tuesday and they had half off two appetizers per pizza order. We got a charcuterie board and eggplant dish. Charcuterie was disappointing and we wouldn't get it without the discount. Definitely get the calabri pizza. Chefs kiss... We also got gelato for dessert and the Mango passionfruit was delicious! Tasted like real mangos without the artificial flavor, but couldn't really taste the passionfruit. They also charged for a 6oz but they let us try a lot of samples so we didn't fuss haha. Would love to try their other pizzas next tim

Wonderful place! Not too crowded (although it was a Tuesday), food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Got dinner and dessert to catch up with friends, and it went great (the gelato was amazing). Highly recommend!

We miss the days of when this place was making their pizzas out of the truck!! We used to drive 40 minutes once every two weeks just to get this pizza. It was our absolute favorite. I always said it was the closest thing you would find to Italy in the States. Not anymore! Unfortunately, they have gone down hill and the old Napoli is gone. The quality of the pizza is not even close to the same as it was and we won't be returning. Hurts me to give this place 2 stars, SO VERY SAD!!

Outstanding meal and service. Enjoyed splitting the meatballs and focaccia appetizer, charred radicchio salad, and pesto and funghi pizza with a friend. The waitress directed us to the half-price Lambrusco, which was great.

Pizza was fantastic, perfect texture, Cheney texture to the dough that supports the cheese, sauce, and toppings with confidence. I really enjoyed it. Waiter was nice and was not interested in intruding out conversations or being “overly helpful” which was pleasant since I was with three other friends. Napoli will always be one of my favorite places for pizza in the triangle.

Dined at Napoli's twice now. I had a reservation and understand how tables need to be turned over but we felt a bit rushed. Basically were told that we needed to leave in a few after being there for 1 1/2 hrs. We did order appetizers, salad and then the pizza so it should have been a 2 hour stay at least and not just 1 1/2 hrs. Not European at all. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is significant reverberation of noise because of all the hard surfaces. Could hardly hear each other. As an Interior Designer, I must say there are things that can be done to attenuate the noise such as lights that absorb sound, ceiling tiles that absorb sound and cushions on the window seats, which are needed anyway, which could also absorb sound.

Excellent, creative wood-fire oven pizza. Delicious antipasti. Not to mention the house-made gelato! The space is (currently) small so make a reservation. Looks like they are expanding so will be able to accommodate more inside dining.

Delicious made from scratch pizza. We opted for the pesto and fungi and the Greco (Greek) pizzas. They were scrumptious. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We tried the apple crisp special and the dark chocolate gelato. Next time we will try the vegan cheese. We are looking forward to our next visit! We dined in which is four small tables or the bar. There is also outside dining which is enclosed for cold evenings with a heater. There were lots of people picking up to go orders so this is obviously a local favorite.

The food and service are always outstanding. My only complaint is the difficultly for people with hip or knee issues to access the outside porch. A railing or better steps are needed. Thank you.

Pizza is reliably terrific - super flavorful, fresh and hot. Service is friendly, atmosphere is cute and cozy both inside and outside on their covered patio area with cozy soft lighting. Oh and the gelato is some of the best I've had!
