We barley got a question to staff about sake, which was answered with a high level of snark. Staff was not interested, when we couldn't get an order placed, We left

Used to be one of my favorite sushi places. Now feels like an Atlanta night club, with bad sushi. The service was beyond awful. The fish was brown. The bathrooms dirty. Took over 40 minutes to get our beer from initial order. Not busy for a reason. So incredibly disappointing for what used to be one of Charlotte’s best.

I’ve been here several times now, each time the sushi was even better than the last. Wide range of sushi rolls to choose from as well as some unique and tasty appetizers. Sushi Nikko is a, if not THE, hidden gem of Carrboro. We will be regulars.

I've never been disappointed in the sushi rolls or sashimi here - excellent. Highly recommend as an escape from the usual Carrboro fare or just to get sushi because let's face it - it's one of the best meals on the planet.

We like to play sushi roulette. We pick numbers without knowing what we're getting. Tonight the choices were all outstanding! I think so far we've never been disappointed! Wonderful food!

Great little sushi place tucked away in a shopping plaza. Freshly made sushi and the server was very attentive.

This place was great and the staff were nice! I was definitely surprised that there wasn’t more people there. The Katsu was amazing and the shrimp tempura roll was very well made too.

The sushi here is always super fresh and the owners are always there working and providing an excellent service.

Our favorite sushi restaurant, and we feel lucky that it’s in a big ugly strip mall so we can keep it a secret... but really, if you just want really good fresh perfect sushi, we’ve tried many of them in the triangle and this one is hands down the best.

Edit: I’ve only really ever ordered sushi here but tonight we got Yaki Soba for my mom and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend their noodle dishes, really well seasoned. So good.

I found 2 hairs in our Tempura Soup and 1 hair in our Nikko Sushi. It was an awful experience.

We found 2 hairs in just 1 order. The people there were really rude and even made us pay for the silverware.

I thought this restaurant was overpriced. We ate lunch there on a Tuesday and it was completely empty. We were sat right in front of the sushi counter and the waitress hovered over us, sort of checking to see how much of my bottled water I’d drunk every few minutes so she could take the bottle. She did tell me the miso wasn’t vegetarian which was helpful. My cucumber roll and vegetable sushi were bland, although the portions were generous. Also the vegetable sushi had lettuce in it which I thought was an unusual and not very delicious choice. No lunch menu so my son and I paid over $70 for a couple of rolls each and soup for him, salad for me. Felt like such a waste when the food and experience were so meh.
