This is a great indoor-outdoor pub with plenty of room. The three of us ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which was fantastic! They’re not kidding when they say crispy! We also enjoyed some unique seltzer water combos… mine was vanilla and lavender, the other was black Cherry and basil.

My daughter and I had burgers here as we were staying next door. The burgers were well done (not asked temp) and pretty dry. We were so hungry that it didn’t matter - skipped lunch on the drive. My tots were just above room temp when they arrived. They would have been good, if not for that. I had the Brett IPA which had a sour finish - not what I was hoping for. The place can be a bit loud as it is all brick and windows. It was a confusing experience as the 3 people working the front of the restaurant just sort of drifted from position to position to missing - Bartender/order taker/ plate delivery. The bar rescue guy would have a field day with that. No one asked how the food was. It was just ok at best.

We popped in after a hike. Beer was good. Atmosphere nice. And we just tried the humus and it was so good! Best I’ve had. Then we eyed someone who ordered their special kale chips. And they gave them to us as I think they were ordering them for marketing pictures. They were awesome. So bottom line: nice brew pub with good food and not too expensive! Good experience overall !

I recently ate here and was the designated driver for a friend’s birthday party. As I was not drinking alcohol, I ordered a glass of soda water alongside my burger. Was very shocked when I got the bill and the glass of plain sparkling water was $5…

A great tap room. Open, airy and family friendly with a great selection of local draft beers, cider, wine, craft cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages. There is a good small menu here if you are looking for a bite. They have are board games and shuffle board and darts too. Right in downtown Carrboro by lots of food and music options like Cats Cradle.Parking: There is a free parking lot right in front but there aren’t a lot of spots and they fill up quickly. There are paid lots and paid street parking as well. Some free on street parking if you can find it.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly during day and early evening. Games and food and nonalcoholic drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible entrance, seating and parking.

It was okay. Got a flight and some food. The beers we got weren't up to our liking. The burger was good and so we're the steak fries. The grilled cheese ($3 upcharge for adult but not bigger or anything added?‍♂️) was not great. The bread needed more butter and some more cheese, that would have made it better. Definitely not worth the price was with the upcharge. The atmosphere was nice. Seems like a great hangout for those who enjoy the beers here. I'd say try if you haven't been here, but keep expectations in check. We were personally not impressed.

Haw River Tap and Table has showcased their talents in renovating a brewpub into a showcase of culinary delights and a wall of fantastic local draft beers. They have made a community hub in the center of downtown Carrboro with a dynamic gastropub styled menu of items that pair wonderfully with their world class beers. They have plenty of space for groups to gather, TVs to see all of the sporting events. Their staff is friendly and professional. The menu is exceptional with fresh and very well prepared products. Their totchcos are perfect for snacking. Their weekly features are all a step above your normal brewery/pub fare.Easy parking out front and the Haw River Tap and Table is a great starting spot for your next local sporting event on campus or concert at the Cat's Cradle.Check out all of my photos of their fare. Visit and host friends there with confidence. It is a delight having such a high quality establishment in Carrboro.

The homemade sodas were some of the best carbonated beverages I’ve ever had. They come in fun and interesting flavors and I can’t stop thinking about them! Steak sandwich and fries were also great!

Goodish food. Yummy drinks. Servers/management have an attitude. Staff missed an ordered item and they were nasty about it…we just wanted loaded tater tots. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Sad statement on service and restaurants.
